Will Red Dead R and Skate 3 fail on PSN?

im waiting for both of those game to come out, i have just one problem. Im scared of buying RDR and Skate 3 because of the online, will it be like GTA IV? its pain to find 16 players match on GTA IV. Or should i wait to Christmas and buy myself a X360 + RDR and skate 3?

Skate 2 was perfectly fine on PSN.So im guessing 3 will be the same.

GTA IV i never had a problem with either, i do have more problems with connection issues when i play on my wireless network over using wired tho for some reason.

i dont know wath u are talkin about i get 16 players in a second playing GTA IV, and i never played the online in skate 2 so i ant tell you.

The myth that PSN doesn't have any players is just a myth, besides, there are almost as many people on the PSN as XBOXLIVE

There will be no difference. The only thing that might happen is problems with connecting at the very beginning. Other than that, get it on whichever console you want!

I have never had any problem finding people to play on PSN, nor have I had any connection issues or anything of the sort. Not to mention that it is free. With that, I'll be picking up RDR on the PS3 and am sure I will have no problem getting a game online. I have absolutely zero interest in Skate 3, but I am willing to bet the online will be fine for it as well.

GTAIV's online was a nightmare on practically every platform. I think i played about five matches before i gave up on it forever out of sheer frustration at the lag and difficulty in getting a game going.Ninja-Bear

I see your point but I have to disagree, I thought it was a mediocer at least because when you have a full on party you can actually have fun. Bad online= BIA: HH

im not trolling, im a type of guy who needs ask people questions before make a descision. Besides all fo the RDR videos i have seen was on X360. And that gives me a bad feeling that it will be better on X360. My biggest reason for getting X360 is Halo/gears and xbox live. Since i heard from many people that they say games like Skate and RDR wich isnt so popular in the gaming industry will sell and perform better on X360. I dont know if those guys was trolling or where fanboys... but that gave me a bad feeling. So thats why i made this topic, i like games like wich isnt so hyped in the industry like RDR and Skate. But games like Cod gets to fast boring for me, because its the same thing the whole time

dont worry about it theres enough people to go around not all 360 fanboys love Halo(I think) but they certainly loves to try a new game.

GTA4's online is pretty much dead on PS3, XBOX360 and PC. You wont find many players outside deathmatch, races and free roam. A new game like RDR will be thriving with new players for a long time.

GTA IV's problem was horrid matchmaking, every time you get into a lobby you sit there while Party leader changes settings, then you get close to 8 or more peoople in it finally then they start leaving because the leader takes forever to start the game.

well then :) i feel much better now. Im going to buy RDR and see how it turns out, if it turns out bad i think i will buy me a X360 and just buy skate 3 there just to be more secured

i just tested skate 3 demo, the gameplay is slow and port caverton feels like a place that no one has ever heard about it. They should make much better place then port caverton. But im getting RDR... and thanks for the responds b:)

I play(ed) GTA 4 on PSN quite frequently. I'm a level 9 and I'm a beast. Theres a very strong harcore sect of players that play nothing but GTA 4.

I was playing the new one around Christmas time on my nephews 360, and while it had people, it wasn't very packed.
