If you look at the recent polls in Japan, PS3, and Revo are neck and neck regarding the interest of Japanese consumers. Half a year ago, the PS3 had a monumental lead in Japanese polls, but momentum is beginning to shift in the land of the rising sun as Japan has once again embraced Nintendo, the DS, and their vision of innovation.Starving-ArtistI'm getting sick of this word being thrown around. I love Nintendo don't get me wrong, but this word is getting thrown around too much. Any ways I don't care who takes over in Japan. As long as it's not M$, which will probably never happen.

Is some in it's close, and in some the difference in interest is still considerable. No matter what, I've never seen a reliable and respected poll where the Rev was even with PS3 in interest, therefore no, I still think the PS3 will take the lead again.

Polls were similar back in 2000. While the GC sold as well if not more than the PS2 certain times of the year, the lack of games killed the GC in Japan.Â
In the US the PS3 will win followed by the Rev, in Japna the Rev will win followed by the PS3, and overall the Rev will rule.wooooodeI agree. However, I do think there is a SLIGHT chance that the Rev may overtake the competition in sales, considering it's incredibly low price for it's amazing features.
I will give it to Nintendo over Sony in Japan as well. Here is why: PS2 was an affordable dvd player out of the box. The Japanese love innovation right? Well it seems that the Rev is certainly innovation driven.Â
Also, I have always said that the Rev would be fighting for first and half a comfortable second world wide, I mean it was second world wide this time with the Cube. The breakdown goes like this, since most gamers own at least two consoles:
REV and PS3
PS3 and Rev
REV and 360
360 and REV
I didn't give a PS3 and 360 or vice versa because after nine months of looking at these boards it seems that owners of the PS2 don't have the xbox and vice versa. It would be like saying you are a huge fan of the Kansas City Chiefs and the Oakland Raiders equally.  It just will not happen.
