Will SSBB be your first Smash Bros experience?

It'll be my first time.

I never owned an N64 because I felt, and will always feel, that the PSX just utterly defeated it with a much better variety of impressive and epic games. Sadly, I never even knew Smash Bros existed until about a couple of years ago.

I've owned a GC for about 3 years, but don't own Melee. I just kept waiting for he price to drop, but it never did. I know how highly recommended it was, but wasn't willing to pay $60 + 14% sales tax for it. Not when I got a PS2 sitting right there...

So, here comes Brawl, I'm all all pumped for it. Looks like it's going to be worth the wait.
How long have you been into the Smash Bros. series?
Have you been there since the beginning? Middle? Or is this your first time as well?

Nope, Super Smash Bros. 64 was the first game I got for my 64.

Same with Melee and my gamecube! :D

thats nothing, nizmojoe put over one million matches into melee...and no im not a fan of him

Played both versions when they came out but never really got knee-deep in any of them, thus i expect myself to be trashed within seconds if i were to go online in SSBB. Still, if i find the time, i could build on several techniques;

In a way, yes, SSBB will be my first Smash Bros 'experience'.
