Will the PS3 ever get a game that sells 10 million?

The Wii has Wii fit and Wii sports that sold well over 10 million

The 360 has halo 3 & gears of war which sold 10 million...But the PS3..It's pretty much the black sheep of the three,I think the consumers have spoken and therefore not interested in the PS3 exclusives....That's why they will forever be in 3rtd place...I mean why hasn't killzone 2 sold 10 million? uncharted? Infamous?...Do ppl dont care?

so? you count individual games... mgs4 sold about the same as gears 2 and gt5 P is right behind them both, i guess the closest game would have to be gt 5 (when ever that comes out)

Maybe the entire PS3 userbase doesn't flock to just one game. GT5 will sell 10 million regardless of reviews. Uncharted didn't sell 10 million because it was a new IP released during '07 when the PS3 had a much smaller userbase. inFamous is also a new IP and was only released a few months ago. Killzone 2 might as well be a new IP with how well the first game turned out. They were all relatively new games. Besides, the sales of those games are nothing to sneeze at.

Uncharted sold 2.49 million worldwide.

Killzone 2 sits at 1.81 million in sales.

inFamous already has 770,000.

Not to mention other games on the PS3.

Ratchet and Clank Future sold 1.49 million.

LittleBigPlanet racked up 2.33 million.

Metal Gear Solid 4 sold 4.14 million.

Demon's Souls has sold 130,000 just in Japan which is good based on Japanese numbers.

Valkyria Chronicles has garnered 510,000 in sales.

MotorStorm also sold 3.48 million while MotorStorm 2 sold 720,000.

PS3 exclusives are selling just fine all things considered.

I wouldn't count Wii Sports in America (Japan had to buy it).

Well games like KZ2, LBP should have been selling like crazy if the marketing for them was big like the other big games but Sony are way off when it comes to marketing.

I blame the developers of the game for not marketing the game very well too.

For me, I would say to Sony "Look, this game Im releasing is hardwork of over 4 years and I want to make sure that it sells in the next 3 months multimillion copies to get back what is worth my work".

I mean alot of these games released on the PS3 exclusively for the last 12 months are of high production costs and Im sure if it were another company, these studios would have been shutdown by now for their low sales of their games.

Im sure if these games were MS's property, they would have treated them way better, marketing wise.
