I heard that on PC is will have better framerate, but PS3 version will have better foliage, and draw distance, thanks to the Cell.
So will the ps3 version be better, or will they be tied pretty much?

I think because Crysis fits on one DVD, and blu-rays are like 6 times as large then I think the game will look 6 times as good at least.
Then you factor in teh cell, and teh six axis which, tbh, is pretty much virtual reality in this day and age, and you will have a Crysis that looks better than real life.
[QUOTE="edo-tensei"]True, but he can portray cows rather accurately. :PIt's obviously a fakeboy people

the ps3 version will not be better. They will not be tied. One version will have superior physics and graphics, and over time the graphics and physics will improve because of realistic mods, and physics mods. One version will have what's packaged in the box, and whatever DLC Crytek may release, the other version will have what's packaged in the box, whatever DLC Crytek may release (most likely at a lower cost than it's counterparts) and also loads of support from the mods community allowing unlimited replay value, and will allow players to download mods that turn FPS Crysis 2 into a Tower defense game, or a TPS, basically the possibilities are endless. There'll also be free, community-made DLC that are like ones that you buy off of Steam/XBL/PSN. There's so much more to go over but what I just said are the basics. I'll leave you to figure out which version is which.

[QUOTE="tutt3r"]you heard wrong, it allows 8 screens which can be split screened, 16 players local co-op on one tv confirmed.I heard because the cell has 8 processors, you can have 8 player split screen in crysis 2

yeah.
1 year later and devs got the experience and time to improve on it.
Maybe that's the way.
games should come out a year later for complete optimisation, you know just like GT5!

No. the creators already stated that the PC version will be the definitive version.
The PC doesn't need CELL i.e. it has DX10/DX11 GpGPU.
G8x = Geforce 8 family and the first CUDA processor family.
dued obviously teh trey yo. tehe MILARY uses teh TREY. TREY 4LIEF.

China has NVIDIA Tesla** powered rank 1 supercomputer. **Enterprise level Geforce CUDA processor.
To score rank 1, it used Fermi GF100 based GPU.
I just got off the Demo with the PS3 ME2. Typical jaggie edged mess of a console game, it dont even come close to the first ME on PC graphically. It looks the same but at a higher resolution looks way better. But the worst part was the fps drops into the low 20's way to often...could be like masseffect2

Crysis 1 on PS3 is clearly the most superior version of the game. The PC just doesn't have the hardware to.... HA!!!!!
Couldn't say it with a straight face ;)

Hell, why would you have even bothered trying? Please Log In to post.
