Isometric games have a timelessness about them.

Take Bioware's game's for example, Baldur's Gate 2 due to it being more about artistic direction than pixel power stands the test of time better Kotor/Kotor 2 and most likely Mass Effect as well.

the SNES version is the second best movie to game adaptation ever. Its a little short and kinda easy (considerably harder if you dont use the rug though) but it has some fantastic platforming.

Yeah I had that. You had this massive house to explore, but if you went into your bedroom then your wife wouldn't allow you into the bed. You had to go around collecting all the shiny items littered around the house before she would let you in.

Ocarina of Time is that game.
