To be honest, I really did think OB would get a 10. I mean 9.5 is a great score and everything but when (according to this new review system) you have 10 "merits" and the only negative they have is " Playing through all three Half-Life 2 games in succession makes Episode One stand out as a relatively weak link", it kind of plays illogical in my head and pisses me off.
I feel like unless a game has amazing single player AND multiplayer, GS wont give it a 10, which I think is unfair; there are many games that don't lend themselves well to mutiplayer (Mass Effect, SMG)
I think for a game to get a 10, it would have to be totally original. I think that's why we saw more 10s in the N64 and PS1 era, because a ton of new ideas came with the switch to 3D.

Maybe Brawl, maybe. But if Halo 4 comes out, and it will, it's getting a 10, regardless of quality. Yes, I preach the Gamespot bias crap. But I'm wondering why games like Ocarina of Time, A Link to the Past, Super Mario World, and Symphony of the Night haven't gotten 10's in their modern incarnations. Hell, Gamespot says they're "the greatest games of all time".
Considering the gamespot reviewers said there would never be another one again because, "No game can be perfect" I highly doubt it. Why do you think the last one was......couple years ago?

There are catergories other than graphics when they review a game, so no crysis will never get a 10, and it certainly doesn't deserve one.
Its more than graphics... but yea 10 is too much, 9.5 I reckon.
