The only games I see that has a chance of scoring AAAA, is spore and lbp. I'm sorry to the mgs4, Super Mario Galaxy, halo 3, and mass effect fanboys but, there is no way those games will score AAAA.

You think LBP has a chance at AAAA? :lol:You think that lbp is not doing anything innovative?
The only game that has a chance is Spore... and its chance ran out 2 years ago. When it does finally come out, it will be knocked for being outdated graphically.
LBP is doing nothing innovative. It is just a glorified level maker. We've had those for decades. Sure, its going to be a good game but comparing it to the likes of Spore? Funny.

AAAA is 10 right? Game Informer gave Bioshock a 10 so there you go. And its very narrow-minded to just put those 2 titles on the pollShade-Blade
Yeah, but he's talking about on Gamespot.

honestly, what are the underrated games on gamespot? I was angry after the twilight princess review but after playing it I agree that it is not AAA, but still awesome. Even now, when I hear their justification arguments I totally understand what they mean. Gamespot still has the best reviews out there, imo(I wonder if those early reviewers are bribed with getting the privilege of getting an earlier review, giving overrated reviews in exchange)

Spore is just a glorifiedrpg with simcity features. You build your own character stats, which thus changes the way he adapts to the world, and the way he looks. You create a character (similar to oblivion, etc), and this character goes through more or less grows into many (similar to a sim city). It may be called evoloution, but face it sim city, civilization, and many other games had procedural evoloution.lnumba1234

Does LBP have to be innovative to get a AAAA?

Made from scratch objects like...Tanks, cars, 0_0 boxers *the fighting kind, not the smelly kind...though with a variety of available fabric textures...it may be posible*
Spore.. it reminds me of a game (cannot remember name) on SNES which allow you to evolve into either birdman, lizardman, mermaids, homosapeins, etc. from a fish (or some creature earlier, cannot remember :? ), then combine elements from sims, stragety games like civilization, then Black & White...
I wouldn't call it innovative as well...
Anway, I doubut both of them would be AAAA at gamespot.

Kind sounds like Sim Earth? I rented that once, couldn't figure out what I was doing since it didn't have the instruction manual. I had a society of starfish people. Awesome.

The fact that you can make basically anything using the game's tools. Not just levels, but objects, tools, enemies, and more. And it's all tied together with an interface that's very simple to understand. In no time, anybody can create something interesting and new. You can't create a game with boxing robots in a level editor.
If it was just a glorified level editor, every single person in the industry wouldn't be crapping their pants over the game.

I may have been exaggerating a bit, but people are really positive about this game.
Here's Gamespot's Leipzig impressions of the game, where they make the boxing robots I reference above.
9.5 is the new 10.
I don't agree with Gamespot's review system one bit, but I think it'll be rare to see AAA games let alone AAAA.
Duke Nukem Forever has a chance to be AAAA. I mean, its been in development..since...like...forever :?
Halo 3 or Crysis are the only games that might get 9.5 or 10...Halo 3 wont have a chance at a 10. Its a sequal, usually sequals can show their age over time and may bring down the lasting value.
Crysis should probably get a 10/10 but then again I said the same thing about Bioshock and Armed Assault... haha...
Halo 3 though... well... It has to get a 10 just because its Halo! Fanboys would probably explode if it gets ANYTHING LESS than a 9.5... thats just fanboys and because its Halo...
Then again... with the amount of money M$ has... it wouldn't be too hard for some of it to vanish under the table...
