will Too Human live up to the hype?

okay so after one of the longest development cycles ever in gaming, tons of media negativity, the lawsuit with epic, the e3 showing etc. Too Human is finally completed so he simple question is will the game Dennis Dyack says "is in a class of its own" live up to the hype and fit the billing as a next gen diablo with dmc elements or just another flop

I can honestly say that game will be lucky to score a 6.5.

Yes, if you are a real gamer you will love Too Human. If you are a blind fanboy, hoping this game fails, hoping it "flops", hanging on what reviewers say, cackling because you want to stab the 360, or real games, because you hate old school gamers, then it doesn't matter what the game does, because even the most perfect game (as Too Human is) cannot cure the cancer, the darkness, the hatred that is inside the detractors of this masterpiece.subrosian

I hope this game does well, as well, imean come on nordic mytholagy as the story backdrop is totally FTW

But sadly for the great intentions this game has, the screenis screem mediocre! The enviroments look bare and the customizable armor looks kinda all the same and a bit boring , the animation look stiff and the art direction as a whole just doesn't seem quite right imo

but hey, prove me wrong Too Human and be everything i want you to be

It will live up to the hype because its not being hyped like as if it were a new halo, gta, or amazing.

It will be AA and set us up for a new franchise, that may have the chance of having some hype in the future.

You never know, the few video's Ive seen don't give me alot of hope, and makes me feel the Class in "class of its own" is somewhere near the class of crap

at any rate, I did not expect MGS4 to get a 10 on gamespot (i did expect a good score, but not a 10), who knows, maybe Too Human is unbelievably awesome, and no one knows it .......... yet

Obviously that's not going to happen, you're letting your own bias against WRPGs and action-RPGs taint your view of this game - as GS did not agree with your opinion in the past on this genre, and you have never played Too Human, how can you even *possibly* speculate this?

that one person says "is in a class of its own" means there's that much hype?

the only thing i've seen about that game in these forums is pure bashing, and some people pointing out its level of detail in the graphics.

i personally hope it'll be a good game, but i won't buy it cuz i want on a roll buying games this week :p

The only hype around this game is the hope that it turns out good and not the mess like that E3 video back in 06.

Sounds like Mass Effect.... Good in some aspects oh so missing the mark in a lot of others.....

5. Lost Odyssey - Big shock to me, the first killer JRPG is on the x360, what?

4. Brawl - Fun, and plays well with others :D

3. Dark Messiah - Okay, well, I love the game, it'd be like 5 normally, but, it got rated so low, and so undeservedly so, that it gets the sympathy bump to 3, but seriously, fantastic/fun game, bought the DLC, don't regret it.

2. Folklore - Japanese made rpg (kinda), solid statement, extremely fun to play, makes perfect use of the sixaxis.

Just because a few people here on gamespot have hyped it up doesn't mean it has any real hype. This is probably going to get used against the "lemmings" if the game ends up being a disaster.

Unlike teh cows, I'm confident that this game will live up to it's hype, and that's a solid 8.0 - 8.5 score. I'm not going to hype this game lower so it'll have higher chances to not flop. I'm confident enough to to hype it to the highest score I can see it getting here and it's pretty solid.
