720 is obviously gonna be the beast next gen, but it's funny that the WiiU will be the most powerful for a couple years. Will SWs graphics whores shift to WiiU? I mean the ones that don't care to buy a PC rig.

Pretty sure all major 3rd parties are behind it, and theres some games being prepped to be ported over to the WiiU that are actually pretty big players.

I think we'll definitely discuss it more, but I doubt highly it'll turn us into graphics based fanboys. I mean, look at last gen. The GC had probably the best graphics, and even if you don't accept that, no one can say it wasn't at least on par with the PS2 and the Xbox. After that, none of us really started to care about graphics as the sole part of games. All you'll be hearing is one of 2 things:

1. Zelda looks amazing in HD (maybe Mario as well)

2. Threads designed to tick off lems and cows (which are not to be taken as our actual feelings).

I've just always gamed on control and gameplay. Graphics never meant anything to me personally. To me, they don't affect my experience with a game.

I'm with Silversix on this one, sometimes the graphix really help the gameplay in a small way..well for me that is. And I doubt I'll turn into a graphix whore since I know PS4 and Xbox720 will be coming out soon.

You can't even know what direction MS will take with this. They seem to be focusing on casuals as of lately. But pretend for a minute I believe your crystal ball, the 720 would be shooting itself in the foot. It's power would only be being held back by Wii U and PS4 :P

The Wii U specs aren't final and you have no idea where PS4 and 720 will be heading with the console. For all we know, it might just stay the same and go completely casual.
