Yeah but he has to limit his vision With the PC industry in the state it is and hardcore gaming on console being near enough dead, i think EA were forcing him to limit his vision

What`s wrong with EA? It seems to me that they let him work.. he pretty much did whatever he wanted there.. I don't think spore's flop was EA's Fault that game took forever and they always supported Wright..

You guys do realize he left to open a new studio that focuses on a broader range of entertainment? Its not like he got fired. EA bassiclly still has first rights to his studio.

Sounds exciting. Kinda reminds me of what Bungie and Microsoft did. Let some room to breathe, but still retain the close business relationship.

What's wrong with EA?WHAT'S WRONG WITH EA?!

origin

They got away with murder, that's what.

Also horrible milking of franchises, especially Sims and EA Sports. Pretty much everybody does that these days, sure, but EA is the granddaddy of milkage.

Except that he didn't leave EA. He left Maxis to form a partnership directly with EA...

Like Obama spending other people's money to give it to failed businesses.
