Will Xbox One hold games back?

We know Sony's first party games will look vastly superior to anything X1 will be able to handle but will 3rd party developers be held back by the limitations of X1 and be forced to dumb down the PS4 versions to that level because of M$ policies?

Ok lets talk about that! Games like Killzone 3, God of War 3, Ascension, Uncharted 3 etc showed off the PS3's top muscle, and proved it was the most powerful console. If Playstation exclusive developers were able to accomplish all of that on super complicated hardware like the Cell, Then just imagine what they will be able to accomplish on easy to develop for hardware like the efficiently powerful PS4? My goodness at that thought! The likes of Naughty Dog, Guerrila Games, Sucker Punch, Quantic Dreams, and Santa Monica will be making mind blowing PS4 games that put 99% of other developers and next gen games to shame..... Due to the ease of the PS4 hardware, they will be able to achive those insane graphics with much less effort too, while focusing a whole lot more on game mechanics etcepicgameplayer

Actually Gears won billions of awards.  If I remember correctly Uncharted 2 won 10 (and they were for good effort and most improved).  10 awards is good though.  Almost one award for each copy sold.

Microsoft is so low on quality first party exclusives that they would rather hand off Halo and Gears to inferior studios instead of making new IPs. We will we if the the Xbox One breaks that shoddy practice.

Apples and oranges. Can't really compare them both when it comes to quality. 

Sony has games like Uncharted, Killzone, God of War, Gran Turismo which Ninty has literally no answer for (and vice-versa).

Nintendo has quantity though. But that would change soon given Sony's tremendous growth in 1st party games over the last three generations.
