Will Xbox One "Cloud" forever ruin offline gaming?

Microsoft claims that the "Power of the Cloud" will make single player so much better. 

Thats still DRM, and even though my connection is great, I still don`t want to be forced into some online required bullshit. ONLY for multiplayer and MMO, but by the sould of it, Microsoft wants to use this BS everywhere. 

So is single player going to be ruined now? And retro gaming die when these games gets old?

The day someone thought of using the internet in a game was the day the countdown for no more offline play happened. The internet is on it's way to being everywhere you'd want to be and every year our access to it gets faster and more reliable, whether that be landline connections, wi-fi, or mobile tech like 4G. There will be a time where opting to be offline will be as weird to the general public as Amish people opting not to use electricity is today.Senor_Kami
