Me and several buddies of mine are planning to skip school on launch day and begin playing shortly after midnight. :)

November 10th, 2009.A very exceptional day - the day that every gamer in the whole world has been looking forward to. We will get the best shooter of this year, and, in a possible manner, one of the greatest games of all time. Unprecedented sales will be established within the entertainment genre... There is one question left: what will you do in order to get to play it?

Modern Warfare 2 is:

...the sequel to the best-selling first-person shooter of all time.

...the most sought-after entertainment product of the year.

...the official Game of the Year.

Maybe the most exceptional idea and the most engrossing sequence in gaming?

I could take off work, but I usually reserve that for games that have long campaigns (ie RPGs) and not a FPS that I can probably finish in a couple/few nights.

I graduated law school in spring of 2008, so I don't need to skip school. I do have to work though.

I graduated from high school 9 years ago, so I will be skipping school, but not for the same reasons as you.

I didn't like the first. I will not be skipping work for a game i don't like, i don't care about and didn't even know its release date.

I only have two classes that day, and only one the following day....so no I won't be missing 3 hours of class for MW2.
