Will you be buying into new motion control? (POLL)

Hello System Wars!
My question to you is exactly what you probably thought it would be - are you interested in purchasing the new motion-based technology released for either Xbox 360 and Playstation 3? If so, why, and if not, why?

Yeah, the Sony wandy waggly thingy. I just feel out of them i need some sort of feedback to the game. I have to know i'm controlling something instead of nothing. Such as the E3 demo of Natal, driving a car? With nothing? I don't think i could. So yeah Sonys option is what i will be getting, Captain-Leg

Not really.

I never cared for it on the Wii, and I don't see my views ever changing with Sony's Wiggle Waggle Wander Wand.

If....and ONLY if the Wander Wand does prove itself to be a standard for FPS console control, and MORE devs take this approach far far more seriously than on Wii with CoD Reflex, for example,I'll probably take it a tad more seriously. Otherwise, no. I'll stick to standard control padsand KB + M on my p.o.s. PC for my RTS fix.

I'm telling you right now that I'm not gonna buy any of that stuff day one. The Sony wand is the only thing I might buy since I don't have a 360. I'm gonna wait and see how the stuff works out and if the games are worth it.

No I haven't seen it yet. I'm sure that E3 will help me alot when deciding on it. But it will ultimately come down to the general welcome by the gamers themselve.

I'm not interested in either of them.

I'm not an impulse shopper, so I most likely won't be buying any motion technology off the bat. Maybe wait a year or two to see if Developers support it.

Probably, since I like to try new things. However, I haven't seen any game working with them yet to get me excited about them. I'll have to see what they come up with, maybe some completely new kinds of games.

neither. but i might get the one valves making for PC. I own a wii by the way.

The Sony Gem looks amazing, but I have a feeling they are not going to make many games for it, and it will fail. I'm hoping that I am wrong.

As for Natal, personally I don't have a 360 (My brother does), and I think it looks dumb. I don't trust controlling a game with a camera (Everyone out is pretty horrible). Also, half the videos were proven fake, and I don't think any developers are going to want to bother with it.

Maybe, not sure on NATAL. Sony's wand tech looks like it could actually work.

I like trying new things generally, so I'll be giving them both a go unless they turn out terribad or somethin'. :)

Only way they will get me buying motion control crap is if they release some ridiculously awesome game which requires the use of it. otherwise i will never buy them.

Don't really care about the PS3 thing if it works like in the video where the guy had a DS3 in on hand and the stick in the other.

Natal is the least I care about since I like to have a controller and I don't care about talking to my console. It might surprise me later on though.

Neither. Even if the implementation somehow turns out to be amazing, I simply don't have the room where my systems are set up to use them.

Ill wait a while see what becomes of both of them. Then decide to get it or not.

Natal looks awesome. I'm just as excited to use it on PC as I am for any 360 implementation.

If Natal has great games for it, I'll buy it.

I'll buy into it as soon as they prove it can produce superior games to the ones we usually get with "average" technology.
