I will be upgrading my PS3 copy to the PS4. If I ever get an XBone I'll be upgrading my 360 copy to the Xbone. So yes I will be buying it for $5.
Yeah, probably. Depends on how much it costs. I've never played it so I'd probably get it on one of those two.
I don't have it on any platform and I won't be buying it. I played the demo on the Xbox 360 a year ago and didn't really care for it. It was just a waste of time for me. Didn't see the point of it. It'll be a serious DARK DAY when they close all those Minecraft servers.
I will never buy it for either. I have it on PC (DD) and 360 (physical) and those purchases were a waste. The most I got out of it was some friends kids played it at a few parties. Lucky I got both incredibly cheap, near free, so there was that.
I'm not ever going to buy it again (or waste $5 "upgrading") since I don't care for it nor do I play it. Plus $5 is more than I paid for the game originally on PC AND 360.
One thing is for sure, I am not going to be buying remasters or ports on my PS4/Xbone/WiiU if I already have the game. It's not worth it. I didn't buy Zelda Wind Waker HD, I didn't buy The Last of Us Remastered with DLC, and I won't be buying Master Chief Collection. I may buy those games cheap for $20 or less since they are physical games and I'm a collector, but I literally own all of them. I was the same last gen with remastered ports. I always waited for the sub $20 price point before I bought the HD collections as they were called.
I bought these new machines for new experiences and new games. I don't want to waste HDD space on games I have sitting in another room on another machine.
Your poll is flawed.
your poll makes no sense to the question youre asking
I noticed that as well, lol.
Will not buy it at all...
neither
Probably not, I have it for PC already and dont play it.
've it for pc
Agreed.
PC, the best system to have it on.
Thread is about the console versions. Stop trying to derail.
I'm just answering honestly. Sorry Crnaler.
Is the Xbox One version digital and disc or just digital? Ew never mind. Just read it's digital only. Disc will come later around the holidays. Looks like I'll be waiting to get this for the kids then. I don't do digital unless it's GWG or EA Access. No resale value.
I have the 360 version digitally so getting it on the One for $5 is no brainer. I haven't played it for the longest so maybe I'll wait till the last day before the upgrade promo ends to get it. I haven't played it since they added that Creation Mode or whatever they call it where you don't have to dupe items to build massive things. So it'll be like a whole new game for me. And I could get $5 Xbox money so easily from different apps and surveys, so I will get it free.

Wait, this isn't usual.... Where's your "Getting this on the PS4 anyways!" comment, I've grown fond of it.
Hell no. I don't understand the appeal of this game. Conan O'brien did a good job of conveying exactly how I feel about this game in his review.
Nothing about this game makes me wanna buy it. even if it was free i'd rather play something else.
I will go with this answer.
Vanilla Minecraft is novel for a short period, but it wore thin quickly for me.
The modded game is where it's at and I've recently returned to it to try some mods' latest versions.
The PCs' modding community for minecraft is by far the most prolific and diverse of any that I've ever encountered.
I'm currently playing using 246 different mods that add everything from genetic engineering, big reactors, quantum mechanics, jetpacks, conveyor belts, fluid ducts, multi-block smelting structures capable of producing new alloys, UI tweaks, etc.
Minecraft is a game best experienced on PC.
