I never owned one before. Should I start with the upcoming game or just buy a old and call it a day?

You've never played a single Call of Duty game? That's crazy...lol. Last Call of Duty game that I bought was Ghost, and I really didn't enjoy it much. Call of Duty 2 & Modern Warfare were my favorites. Only reason why I would like to pick this game up, just to give Modern Warfare a try again online with some friends for nostalgia, but I'll wait and see if maybe it'll get released as a standalone one day...

Nope. With Modern Warfare it became an awful series.

I've only played 3 games in the series, the first 3 on the 360. I bought CoD 2 & 3 and borrowed 4 of my brother, and have never touched the series since, and never will again as I have a grudge against Craptivision.

I bought every call of duty ever released. I only play the story mode and challenged though. Sadly, I didn't buy the last one yet though I still think I will.

Probably not. I think it looks good, but I'd rather dedicate my time to other titles.

I've given Call of Duty a chance every year (sans Advanced Warfare) for years now, and ever since Modern Warfare 3, I have been disappointed each time.

absolutely, i've been buying them every year since 2005 and i love infinity ward, both new and old. i will say this however, i have ZERO interest in buying another treyarch produced cod, bo2 and 3 are fucking awful imo. i refuse to buy another one of they're products.

I blindly buy them all, so yes. I haven't finished a campaign since World at War though, I think.

Nope, I'm sick and damn tired of all these futuristic Call of Duty games that have been getting released every single year and I will not buy any new Call of Duty game in a futuristic setting. I think the time is right for Call of Duty to make it's big return to WW2 next year and if that happens then that is when I will buy a new Call of Duty game.

Already preordered on Steam, without the Modern Warfare. Can't wait for this one!

If you like FPS games at all, you at least owe it to yourself to scoop a copy of Black Ops 1 on the cheap. That game was legit!

No I doubt it, for numerous reasons. I usually buy every other COD, for the Campaign, for Zombie mode mostly. I still have stuff to do in BO3.

My shooter plate is currently full, I stopped playing Overwatch and went back to Halo 5, and soon enough I'll have Titanfall 2 and BF1 to play, as well as Gears 4. That's 4 shoothers I'll own and want to play this fall, I simply dont have time for anything else.

Absolutely not. I've never bought a CoD game.

COD 4 had so many great things going for it, New consoles, best graphics on the market, Damn good story with great cinematics. For a lot of ppl it was the first time playing a FPS and being able to play it without issues - Also it had a sense of gloom in it where you feared for your life and cared about characters, knowing something greater can kill you in this game (unlike nowadays where America is so freaking advance in weaponry, nobody can touch us unless its aliens) - From then on, a few cool things came into the franchise but now its just a borefest, no caring why you are even fighting/killing others - Multiplayer requires zero skill or tactics. Therefore, I am done with this franchise since Ghosts.

i stopped with modern warfare. i have no interest in the MP and its too many schmeckles for a very short and basic SP.

i would be interested in an SP compilation though. or if they broke the game up and sole the SP on its own for less then i would take a look. i fancy some brain dead FPS action thrills but there isnt a lot of that going around at the moment (note to self: get doom).

im actually really really rusty at the old FPS. i used to be able to hold my own but i havent played one in soooo long :S.

but as it stands i wont be getting a COD game anytime soon.

Any good thing you can say about COD games can, and has been, done by many other games better. Screw the series, they need a wake up call.

Skipped Ghosts, Bought advanced warfare barely played it, skipped BO3 and don't plan buying the new one. I would buy the call of duty modern warfare remaster if it was sold separately.

Gears 4 and Battlefield 1 is all i need, day one purchases. Titanfall 2 still a maybe liked the first one.

All I'm planning to buy as far as fps games for the Ps4 is Mass effect and possibility Battlefeild 1.
I may buy advanced warfare and world at war for the Playstation 3 later on, though, but aside from that, I am done with Cod.

Besides, when it comes to online play, I prefer War Thunder to Cod.
