Without a doubt. I really hope it's announced. It's still my favourite game to this date.
It shouldn't be more expensive than the norm though.

If it happens, it will definitely be $60. The development costs associated to making a flawless PS3 version of the game will cost Square-Enix millions. That's why I don't think that they are going to do it.
With all the positive support for the game I don't know why they wouldn't do it since they already said they want to remake it someday (i thought). Seems like a matter of time to me. The 10th year anniversary is coming up, too. If they announce it sometime soon that'd be the time i would think.
