controller?
I only play the SF fighting games on 360 so I don't know if it would be worth it to get the limited edition fighter pad. I haven't decided yet and I need a new controller anyway. What about you guys?

[QUOTE="death919"]Normal controller like SC4. I hope there's a really cheap move like Astaroth's backdown diagonal x hold then y so that I can abuse it online and really get alot of wins easily.110millionYou won't find moves like that in a proper fighting game ;) LOL!!! I thought not. XD Looks like I'm gunna have to get good the legit way. :(
I bought an arcade pad for the PS1 especially for Tekken 1, but by the time i started using it i was too used to playing Tekken with the normal gamepad so it became a waste. This time however i will make an effort to use the Arcade pad for SF4 as pushing the Left shoulder buttons (which is the same side as the D-pad) can be a bit awkward and i would like the comfort of pressing all six buttons on the face along with that "arcade" experience.
Yes i know the limited edition gamepad has 6 buttons on it's face but i want to go back to my arcade roots, and get good at this like all the pros :)

No I will not be paying $200 for one game. Or $90 for that matter. Instead I am buying Fear 2, Resident Evil 5 and Killzone 2.InsaneBasuraIts $60, if you're not buying it don't bash it and don't post something useless in this thread.

Do you guys use the analog sticks to move or the regular d-pad?Supafly1Depends, on 360 its pretty much mandatory to use the analog stick, but on PS3 dpad would be better. Technically some things work easier on the analog stick but its less precise too.

The 360 dpad isn't perfect but it's still 1000 times better than using the anologue stick!

I prefer the Xbox 360 dpad to the PS3's. The PS D-pad rubs my thumb when I try to execute fast combos. It feels like ropeburn.[QUOTE="speedsix"][QUOTE="110million"] Depends, on 360 its pretty much mandatory to use the analog stick, but on PS3 dpad would be better. I remember playing Tekken Tag Tournament (been a long time since I played a fighting game) and I also remember my sore thumb that was stiff after trying to do those combos on the d-pad. Or actually, you can always get a 8 directional d-pad to make the combos easier.Supafly1
Tekken is NOTHING like Street Fighter.
3D fighters are much easier with an analog stick, although a Dpad is better, the difference isn't so pronounced. In a 2D fighter like Street Fighter, that's where more issues arise.
The Only 3D fighter where a Dpad seems closer to a 2D fighter is Virtua Figher, for precision.
