If the PS4 is backwards compatible with PS3 and PS2 games, YES.
If not, I'll keep my PS3 (60 GB) and buy a PS4.
:)
I only sell my consoles if the next gen ones are compatible with the last gen ones. I find no point in keeping an overwhelming amount of consoles if i dont actually need to. Only thing is, I dont know if Im even going to be buying next gen consoles at this price rate. At least not for a long, long time.
ahh see i sorta am too, but im also out with the old in with new type aswellNah, im somewhat of a pack rat, i cant get rid of old systems and games, i like collecting them

I have in the past, but not this time. With multiple TVs in the house, my PS3 can serve as a BD player, the Wii can be with it as well, and the new consoles can go with the best TV.
I regret not having a PS2 right now, and still may buy one. I've learned my lesson. B/C is not a given.

It obviously depends if it has backwards compatibility.
Chances are, even if the next Nintendo console does, I will not sell me Wii. I love it too much.
I definitely will never sell my two DS Lites and DSi.

Same here...never sold any of my systems... i still have (perfectly working when i last checked) all my previous systems which are NES, Mega Drive, Gamegear, PS1, PS2, Dreamcast, Amiga 600, Atari,ZX Spectrum 128 &Commodore 64..
No - it doesn't make sense to. At the end of the generation, you'll be lucky to get $50 for your console, and there's no guarantee your next-gen console will be backwards compatible. On top of that, selling a console usually means having to get rid of at least one controller, and a controller alone is worth more than you usually get for selling it. subrosianyea but see I didnt have a job when I wanted to get my ps3/360, so selling the ps2 was a must for me
