I only sell my consoles if the next gen ones are compatible with the last gen ones. I find no point in keeping an overwhelming amount of consoles if i dont actually need to. Only thing is, I dont know if Im even going to be buying next gen consoles at this price rate. At least not for a long, long time.
No way. the 360 serves as a decent media centre for any HDTV. What is needed, is MKV support so that high definition content downloaded from the internet can be played natively.
I have in the past, but not this time. With multiple TVs in the house, my PS3 can serve as a BD player, the Wii can be with it as well, and the new consoles can go with the best TV.
I regret not having a PS2 right now, and still may buy one. I've learned my lesson. B/C is not a given.
Depends on BC The Wii HD must keep all BC it has, and be able to port VC games because otherwise ill be gutted. I havent bought the PS3 because of the lack of BC. My SNES and N64 i kept because they are classics, and some games on them wont come to Wii VC (banjo kazooie anyone)
I don't even have a current system. If I did I would NOT sell it, but if I don't end up getting one let's hope the companies all put B/C in their new systems like Nintendo did.
Nah, im somewhat of a pack rat, i cant get rid of old systems and games, i like collecting them

No - it doesn't make sense to. At the end of the generation, you'll be lucky to get $50 for your console, and there's no guarantee your next-gen console will be backwards compatible. On top of that, selling a console usually means having to get rid of at least one controller, and a controller alone is worth more than you usually get for selling it.
No. I might consider it if it'd have full BC though. For my 360 that's mean it'd have to play all my 360 games and for the next PS it would have to play everything back to PSX.
never sold any of my systems... i still have (perfectly working when i last checked) all my previous systems which are NES, Mega Drive, Gamegear, PS1, PS2, Dreamcast, Amiga 600, Atari,ZX Spectrum 128 &Commodore 64..

yea but see I didnt have a job when I wanted to get my ps3/360, so selling the ps2 was a must for me
