This is Wind Waker running in HD. Timeless graphics, very few games hold up so well, but the art direction is so superb. Maybe one day we'll see it in native HD on a Wii 2? I can dream

WW is one of the games that makes me regret giving my GC to my ex's mum. she was going through a tough time and she loved playing games at the time, and seeing as she is a happy and cheerful person now it was probably 1 of the few selfless things i will do in my life so i can deal with that lol.
though i wish i kept twin snakes.
Yea I know how you feel lol. I gave my GC to a classmate(we were not fiends nor enemies, just a guy I knew from school). This was before the current gen consoles came out. His dad died that October and all he asked for that Christmas was a Gamecube and his mom was financial tied up in the funeral, so I gave him mine that Christmas. I miss that damn lunchbox looking machine lol.WW is one of the games that makes me regret giving my GC to my ex's mum. she was going through a tough time and she loved playing games at the time, and seeing as she is a happy and cheerful person now it was probably 1 of the few selfless things i will do in my life so i can deal with that lol.

Windwaker is amazing. My favorite Zelda game by far. If Nintendo ever descides to do another game set in this Zelda universe, my butt will be going out and buying a Wii, or the next Nintendo system.millerlight89You do know they continued it on the ds with two games.

Actually no I did not lol. I was never a big handheld gamer though. I would really like a console sequel.

Nowhere near the same quality. Phantom Hourglass was okay, with the sailing and the music being similar, but Spirit Tracks was crap IMO.

Well It's bright thats for sure .[QUOTE="Nokitch"][QUOTE="SaltyMeatballs"]Windwaker will forever be graphics king.ghost392
Its bright because the filter remove that and RE4 topples it
Nope. WW is timeless. RE4 already looks ugly.[QUOTE="ghost392"][QUOTE="Nokitch"] Well It's bright thats for sure .SaltyMeatballs

What's the difference between SD and HD Wind Waker?
The graphics are the same...
LegatoSkyheart
Tell me about it and this has to be the 10th topic about Windwaker's "TIMELESS GRAPHICZ" I mean give me a break the game looks good but its not the best on GC and wont age the best either when other cell shade games come out... Eternal Sonata is one ( I have not played it though)
Yeah I was thinking the same thing... could someone post a comparison please? What's the difference between SD and HD Wind Waker?

No because WW HD in that shot isnt using official hardware thus you cant compare it too WW 480p but I would love to see RE4 480p vs WW 480p

Ghost, Shut up and set your Apple Fanboyish additude down to non-exsitant.
I asked what's the difference between "HD" and "SD" Wind Waker. Nothing Changed except the Screen Resolution. The fact on saying that Wind Waker is timeless but it needs to be in HD is just freakin' silly.
Thats like saying Halo 2 looks better then Crysis because art dirrection

Not true. Artistic graphics such as WW holds up longer over time than a game that is praised on a technical level.Woah Im no fanboy I own Wii(well my family does :P) and Ipod Touch... and even if I am how does that change the fact that both are GC games... Resident Evil 4 looks better and allways will then windwaker.

That's utter Bull Crap.
and I'm not dogging on Resident Evil 4.
That and Metal Gear Solid Twin Snakes were beast on the Gamecube. But I'm not going to lie and say that Wind Waker is utter crap and it's graphics suck. No, Wind Waker's Graphics can still hold it's own in todays standards. but my real question is "What's the difference from "HD" Wind Waker and "SD" Wind Waker?
They look the same. I just think this "HD" bussiness is just silly.

Not true. Artistic graphics such as WW holds up longer over time than a game that is praised on a technical level.:x NO ... Just :x NO Resident Evil for wasnt a generic cut and paste art dirrection it is unique (more so then Wind Waker) and it holds up better imo
So if you slap Cel Shading on RE4 it will be timeless give me a break

Yes o yes. I said nothing about cell shading, you are the on stuck on that. Resident Evil 4 does not look that great, imo Resident Evil Remake looks better than 4.They look the same. I just think this "HD" bussiness is just silly.Higher resolution = less jaggies. That is about all I can think of.LegatoSkyheart

I am guessing you are telling me to post pictures? I think I will pass, idc if I change your mind and you can go look at pictures on your own. Also, you forgot to put imo in big letters. That is a crucial part sense it is my freaking opinion.Higher resolution = less jaggies. That is about all I can think of.[QUOTE="LegatoSkyheart"]They look the same. No one Complained about the jaggies before.
Why now? Bunch of Graphics -word- is what you all have turned into this gen.
Yeah, Wind Waker was my favorite in terms of graphics last gen. It never got enough credit for what it did, just because it was perceived as "kiddy."

Don't call me one. I was simple giving you your answer, at least an answer I believe to be right. :PYeah, Wind Waker was my favorite in terms of graphics last gen. It never got enough credit for what it did, just because it was perceived as "kiddy."

Nothing on the Gamecube got what it deserved except for Twilight Princess and Resident Evil 4.

Already did that on my HDTV, Wind Waker has it easy because of it's cell-shaded graphics but RE4 looks like a terrible mess on my HDTV. I have a Wii, the Wii version of RE4 and the component cables. RE4 looked good 6 years ago, not anymore it's been outdone by pretty much all the graphic gems of this generation's home consoles.Already did that on my HDTV, Wind Waker has it easy because of it's cell-shaded graphics but RE4 looks like a terrible mess on my HDTV. Nop my 32'' Samsung HDTV is fine, maybe I overdid it on the ''terrible mess'' part but it's certainly looks worse than on a SDTV (or EDTV) and definitely not as fantastic as Ghost it making it out to be.
