Witcher 3 or FF15 what do i buy?

I want to play an rpg for the best system out there PS4. Help me out...it dont have to be these two games. Im open to suggestions.

FFXV - for some reason I can't seem to get through the Witcher. I have started it multiple times and I never make it very far. I think the combat in FFXV is better also

FFXV is also good, perhaps one of the best FF games, but it's still far cry from W3.

Witcher 3 but you should still get FF15 if you can. It's one of the best FF games ever IMO.

Played both, to the end. FF just gets worst and worst. Starts fine but by the end it's just horrible. Witcher, I loved it.

Buying both games is not an issue. Its just having time to play. Im a huge FF fan but last one i played was 10. W3 looks incredible. Thx all.

FF15 was a bit of a trainwreck. Enjoyable, and it had great music, but the story and pacing were shite.

FF15 is more relxing game. It has bad story, but enjoyable characters with a lot of bromance between Noctis and his friends.

On the other hand, Witcher 3 has amazing story, but Geralt is always alone, and while he is good character, he is not very enjoyable one.

FF15's battle system is more flashy, with all the teleport moves, and tag combo attacks. Witcher 3's battle system is much more simple, but still good one.

It really depends what you prefer, Witcher's story is dark, while FF15 is much more happy game, the monsters are majestic, the characters are stupid but funny and loveable.

I played both of them at the same time, and while I think Witcher is the better one, I enjoyed FF15 much more. I'm not really into dark stories with almost no happy moments like Witcher.

I just bought FF XV myself. Playing The Witcher 3 maxed out in 4K was glorious though. Perks of owning a beast PC and a PS4. That's honestly a terrific combo.

I thought you disliked The Witcher 3? How is FF XV? I just installed it two days ago but haven't gotten around to playing it yet.

Buy both. If you're interested in both. Both are good in what they try to do.

I would take Bloodborne/Persona 5/Disgaea 5 over those two games myself. Although I need to put more time into Witcher, can't have a too informed opinion on it.

Witcher 3 has better story, world, and quests.

FFXV has better combat and music.

I have only "played" FFXV. Don't buy FFXV. If you want a good JRPG get Persona 5.

That being said, FFXV is pretty relaxing sometimes. Whenever it rains I can just sit around the campfire with my japanese boy band friends and feel like I belong.

On PS4? Witcher 3. FF15 is enjoyable and that comes from someone that has despised this and other turn based JRPGs for 30 years. The most coma inducing gameplay ever created.

But the Witcher 3 is simply one of the finest games, regardless of genre, ever made.

I am doing the final chapter of FF15 and never finished Witcher 3, but I'd still say Witcher 3 even though it has its flaws. They're both good, though.

Witcher 3 for story and slavic atmosphere. Dark Souls is not classic RPG, but worth every cent too.

Oddly hard to compare the two even though they are more similar then other games in both series.

The Witcher 3 is more focused on the story, your place in the world, and choice and consequences you make.

FF15 is more focused on the friendship and interactions with you and your party making it feel less lonely, the world is quite good, but the story is less so. It is brighter with a less moody tone.

Both has fairly average combat, you will write home about neither, they are servisable, but only there to further the rest of the game.

Added games would be Dark Souls 3, I tend to consider it more like a modern Diablo then an RPG (yeah I still call Diablo a dungeon crawler, not an RPG). But most people lump it in, It is filled with atmosphere and far the best combat of the 4 games I mention, and is easier to pick up and put down, given the distinct lack of a story being the main driving force of the game.

Lastly Persona 5. You will need to at least consider this game, if you talk about RPGs on the PS4.

It is a mix of a classic JRPG (so turn based combat), a social life simulator, and just about the maximum amount of anime tropes and characters you can stuff in.

P5 has some great tactical combat, and the combat is very enjoyable, the dungeons are the best in a persona game, but the social simulator, setting and themes highly depend on how much you like Japanese and anime/manga subjects particular. It does reel you in, with a good deal of care about the world around you, since you do as much every day things as you do heroic deeds, making the game more grounded, and giving impacts of things that happen, all the more potent.

If I would rank them I would go with this:

The Witcher 3 (and the expansions, fairly important) -> Dark souls 3 -> FF15 -> Persona 5

X was great and XV is shit. It's as simple as that. If you like Emo boy band metrosexual, weird.. and slightly uncomfortable settings it's the game for you. If you like good games then the Witcher 3 without a doubt. X was the last FF that was worth a shit.

From what i heard Final Fantasy XV had an Unfinished Story that was disappointing.
