funsohng is right on the money, the only way MGS5 will work is as a prequel playing as the original Boss. I normally don't like playing as women but for Boss I'll make an exception. In fact it would be sweet if MGS5 is sorta a prequel and sequel, whereas MGS4 jumped locations between Acts it would pretty intriguing if MGS5 jumped time zones and the final act would be post MGS4.

Playing as Boss would be as good as it gets, there could be missions from WW2 (it's been awhile since I played MGS3, but I think they said she did some covert stuff in WW2)and you could go through some of her life when she trained Big Boss, maybe you could even play some parts of MGS3 from her point of view, man it would just be tooo awesome

The boss, go back to WWII. It would probably be one of the best MGS games evar
