I just got a message from a buddy on PSN.

Appearantly, its going around that Sony wants to start charging for PSN in January, but if they recieve 500,000 protest signatures by Jan they wont.

I would ignore it. Unless it's an official source, it's more than likely a load of bumffff.

Lol, it's just a chain letter. I'm surprised you haven't come across more of them since the 3.00 update. I used to recieve tons.

I don't know whether to laugh or cry...

Let's set some basic rules here.

- If someone says something will happen when _____ recieve the message, it's fake.

- If someone says you get a beta key for sending the message, it's fake.

- If someone says this or this will change unless _____ people recieve/send the message, it's fake.

Really, anything recieved like that on your PS3 is not true.

Only believe what Playstation sends you, through your e-mail

I dont get how people can be so stupid and recieve those message and send them to other guys. Even guys on my friends list send me that crap.Drakes_Fortune

Even worse, I have friends and roomates from back in college that were spamming me with the stupid "Send this message to 20 people and you're auto-accepted into the MW2 beta!!!!" (or something to that effect) chain mail.

I got that stupid message from at least a half a dozen people :cry:

Somebody at work was going on about this. I figured it was jibberish.
