If you have the money to.
it depends, if you need the money to help with debt or something then no, but dont spend it all on games :P
It's a great system no doubt, but honestly, if you already have a 360, you'll probably be like me and watch blu ray movies every now and then and pick up a game.
The ps3 is a great media system, it's amazing. However, game wise, it's great, but if you have a 360 I would honestly continue to spend $ on the 360. the ps3 affect will probably wear off in a few months.
Run back to the casino and double your money then buy what you want with one half & bank the other.
jk/j/k :P
I duuno, you need to make up your own mind on this.

Yeah, that sounds about right and thats what i was afraid of. Ok, im going to get the 120 hd and the games! I was reading another recent post in here and looks like thats pretty much the way most feel that have both. I wonder if i even need the 120 hd then? I dont have any use for my demos after i play them. I either hate them and delete them or buy the game....and delete them. :-) I was thinking about installing games to the hd after the update but its really not a big deal. Thanks everybody! :-)
I would buy a few of the big 360 titles coming out and save the money inside a mattress with how bad the economy has been.
Take your spouse out to a nice dinner, or buy her a necklace, but for god's sake don't blow it on video games.jharv
I got lucky. I have a beautiful wife that doesnt care anything about jewelry! :-)
Buy stocks while they are priced cheap. Unless Obama wins then he'll tax it more since it will be considered a "windfall" and it's only "fair" to give it to the the guy that doesn't want to work.stiltzsy
Actually im going to have to pay taxes on my winnings! :-( Anything over $1200 and they bring you an IRS form to fill out BEFORE they hand you the money. They cant get anything if you cash out $500 or $600 here and there but most of it ($2250) was on a $5 slot jackpot so Uncle Sam has his hand in my pocket already! Maybe he will buy some games with his share? lol! ;-)

Keep your political mumbo jumbo out of SW and read up on what tax policies the 2 candidates have.
TC, I'd definately look to put some money in stocks right now, but a good gaming PC is a good investment, it will be around for longer than either console probably. Sure in 3 years time you'll be playing at low settings but for kids, surfing, etc it will be fine! Plus the 2 consoles have so few exclusives any more if you have a 360 I don't think a PS3 for $400 is worth it.
tell your wife your going to buy a bluray player to go along with you nice new hd tv,
and when you bring home a ps3 just say its the cheapest bluray player you could find!
Buy a Ps3 + some games, then make a savings account and put the rest in it.
That's the wise decision.
[QUOTE="chikenfriedrice"]invest in stocksdipedyeah, now is a great time for that.......
Actually, now is the PERFECT time for that. Don't believe the news, they are nothing but fear mongers. Speak to any stock broker and if you have money that you can afford to invest for 2-5 years, they will tell you there is no better time to buy stocks in companies.
Here is an example. Google is a stock that at one point was touching $700 a share. It is now under $20, or was from when I last check it over the weekend. The point remains that Google isn't going anywhere, neither is YouTube. That stock will be going up again, probably really soon. It may never touch $700 again but it'll certainly be crossing the $100 line again. Buying that stock would make you a fortune.
