Work for Mirror's Edge 2 to Start after Battlefield 3?

Mirror's Edge developer DICE reckons the marketplace is ready for a sequel to its acclaimed-but-underperforming free-running FPS.

When quizzed by Spong on whether a sequel would find an audience, DICE producer Patrick Liu replied, "I think it's something that people are ready to get into again."

"We see that there's a huge fan following, it's almost like a cult! And we know what strengths we had, and what weaknesses we had in that game. If we were to release a new game, we'd know what to improve and how to reach a broader audience. So I definitely think there's a market there."

Mirror's Edge is a parkour game, not free-running. -.- Anyways, Mirror's Edge 2 needs to be worked on. I love Parkour! and want more games to represent it.

They could improve a lot.I never finished the first one because I got bored.

I'm hoping this will be better because I liked it.

I would like it, just dont use that incredibly bright white color scheme that blinds my eyes again....

Sick! They really nailed the concept, they just need the game to last 3 times as long, make the melee work, and make the levels flow better! How hard can that be?

I'd love to see Mirror's Edge done right :D, only thing is, I don't want them to reuse characters... I didn't very much care for how fugly Faith was, those stupid eyes... OR, maybe she can be reused, but have reconstructive surgery!\

I really want Mirrors Edge 2, freaking love the first one !

I cant believe some people didnt like it. It was a completely fresh experience for me. It was platformer in FP view. I felt they nailed the game perfectly. Love the gameplay, the story, cutscenes & the ending. When the characters pull each other up the building, standing there over the beautiful night sky, on top of the skyscaper & the music kicks in. Loved it.Beautiful game. Hope to see a new one.
