This game is stunning! I'm not big on puzzle games and a lot of times game like that hold my interest anywhere from 0-15 minutes. This game is something else. Visually it's great, gameplay is great, every level has something new so it isn't 5 levels of the exact same thing and one thing that really amazed me was that the soundtrack is awesome. Like, one of the best I've heard type of awesome.
It's like lemmings with parapons art sty-le I never thought it could feel so epic to build a bridge of goo and be both visually and audibly amazed.
If braid was nominated, why not this?
I'm not keen on it being set at 800x600 on pc(seriously, wtf?) but a quick change to the config folder fixed that.
If you have a PC or Wii, get this now. Well worth $20.

GOTY list was utter trash regardless of who won it. What douchebag nominated NHL 09? I'm sorry but FIFA 09 is an aweseom game but a tweaked friggin sports game should NEVER EVER EVER be in any GOTY list.
Wow some of you guys have no reading comprehension... 1) He said that WoG should have been a GotY nominee not winner. He believes that WoG has the same quality or more of some of the other nominees. 2) He never even mentioned MGSIV in his whole statement. Yes we all know MGS won! No one is really surprised. 3)meh

Why? GOTY is open for any genre. NHL 09 probably deserves to be a nominee.
Small studios like that don't have the money to pay for the ad campaigns that usually garner these awards. A PC game will win GOTY in the next year or two solely because sites like these need to appear unbiased.
