The Wii's big games are coming out soon. 360 just saw a price drop and Halo 3, arguably the biggest game EVER is on the horizon, along with other huge titles such as Mass Effect, Assassins Creed, Bioshock, GTA IV and the premier version of Madden 08, along with more...plus they are both 6 and 7 million ahead ALREADY...I don't see how the PS3 is doing "GOOD"...

Yes VGChartz is fanboy, but they are always underestimating Playstation sales and overestimating Nintendo and Xbox sales as shown by many NPD comparisons.

It actually pulled good numbers this week because it got a game in Japan and sold 40k units.. so you can't say its selling well with no games, because when it really did have no games.. it wasn't selling.

OH for the love of God Sony's own numbers have the system at somewhere between 4.28-4.8 million sold and 6 million shipped. Can we just stop using VGcharts and Nextgenwars as "reliable" sources? ISA_Scum

If you are talking shipments..sure. Thats not sales by any means, its a worst-kept secret that Microsoft stuffed the retail channel in the fall of 06 so they could say they met their sales figures.

Although Vgchartz is NOT accurate, I've found them to be within a few hundred thousand of the real figures last time I checked the NPD and Mediacrate numbers against their North American and Japanese numbers.

Again that's just you, you're not the majority here. Same would apply for the M rated games discussion. You think you're right but that's not necessarily true. But I must say the way I things, people tend to generalise the market too much. There's a children's market and there's an adult market. Right now Nintendo does indeed only cater to the children's market, and now the casual one. They should have more M rated games which are meant for MATURE AUDIENCES (not games).
