I just lost all respect towards Mircosoft, because yesterday I got my 360 back (from of course the cheap Rrod) and out of the box, it wouldnt turn on!! If I could tallk to the head hancho at xbox/microsoft, I would slap in the face and tell him to stick with software. Maybe that extra $100 would have gone a long way with a PS3. Who Knows.

Did you make sure the power cord is in all the way?

Did you make sure that if you have a power strip that it is plugged in?

Did you make sure then that the power strip is on?

oooh you just bashed a 360 for breaking, expect a lock very soon. Only broken PS3 stories are allowed in System Wars.

It's not a bad buy. But I gotta say that the microsoft customer service sucks something awful.

I must be blessed or something. I bought my friends launch 360 late last year and accourding to him and so far in my possesion it hasnt malfunctioned.

I've got at least 300-350 hours of entertainment out of my 360 and have yet to have an issue. It froze once during an 8-hour Mass Effect marathon but I haven't had a problem since.

Its only a bad buy if you end up getting one of the one's with an issue... mine doesn't have an issue so its a good buy.

you could always do the xclamp fix and while the box is open toss in a few cooling led fan mods/ window... i hope mine breaks so i have the excuse to do this. paullywog
