Worst console ever?

In your opinion, whats the worst console (or handheld, if you wish) ever made, and why?

for me, it would have to be virtual boy. i couldnt see stop signs for a week.

I had a DC and they rocked. i would say the 3DO or cd-i. The Virtual Boy wasnt really a console, IMO

Worst console i have owned in my life to be honest was the ps3 (some good games are coming finally so it might not be as bad in the end, but its weak right now).

The best being Super Nintendo or PS1

i just dont get posts like yours. PS3 isnt the best console in the world, but how someone could come to the conclusion that it is the flatout WORST console ever made is beyond me.

Oh course there are worse consoles that i have tried at friends places (Neo Geo and Virtual Boy to name two), but the ps3 is the most dissapointing of the consoles i personally have had.

I am really looking forward to Metal Gear and some RPGS that hopefully come for the ps3, so a year from now i might not have the same opinion. But as of right this second, thats how i feel.

Atari, NES, SNES, Genesis, gameboy, gameboy advance, wii, dreamcast, ps1, ps2,ps3, xbox, 360, Sega Saturn, DS, PSP and my PC of course.

Thank god i never bought that Virtual Boy nonsense.. my ohh my that was a terrible site to see that thing in action :cry:

The worst console I've ever played would be the ngage. I've never tried the virtual boy or pippin or any of the other crap.

The worst console I've ever owned would be the Gamecube. It had some good games, but compared to what the PS2 and Xbox were offering, it was a steaming pile of crap

I can't believe people are saying PS3 and 360!

Honestly, I don't know why Sony pushed 3D on this system so much when all the 3D games were full of jaggies and hurt my eyes. I did like the few 2D games though.

X-box

From being the pioneer of exploiting on-line capability's for profit, too RRODing in the second week. (yes I have had two different MS systems crap out on me). On top of that, the support for the system gets cut abruptly. I did enjoy games like Halo and Morrowind, but overall, my experience of x-box has been a bad one.

PS3 because gaming was affordable until Sony made it $600 just for the system.lild1425
