Worst game plot

There are plots or stories of games which are just lame: Which one do you think is the worst story in a videogame?:

My vote right now goes to..Commaner Keen (an 80's game) in which you must get several things to repair your ship to get back to earth.. YOu needed a tv antenna, car batteries, a blender... WTF???

Lost Planet and Gears of War have pretty terrible plots.

You mean Xenosaga II? I wasn't aware that they made a sequel toi Xenogears.

onimusha 3 and 4, resident evil 4, devil may cry 3

capcom butchered what i liked most about those franchises. The stories in onimusha and devil may cry weren't worthy of awards before, but they were passable and weren't so annoyingly ridiculous as those lame sequels.

Perfect Dark Zero. You're infiltrating a Hong Kong night club to recover a kidnapped scientist. Oops, now you're in virtual reality fighting someone (why actually fight someone in a game when you can fight them in a game in a game?). And now you're in Egypt for some reason. Oh, the final boss! And... you're fighting some demi-god Chinese guy with a sword who can fly in an alternate dimension. Worst. Plot. EVER.Hoffgod

Have to agree, story was definitely not one of Rare's top priorities when making that game.

Now before I say anything, I love the MGS series...

But Sons of Liberty had the most incoherent plot I have ever experienced. I seriously remember running around naked as Raiden for ever, with no where to go. While people kept radioing in and saying the WEIRDEST most random crap, and then out of no where, after I was lectured by every who could contact me, a door opened out of no where and I could finally andvance.

I ran around naked for over an hour.

And if I EVER hear la li lu le lo again. im going to shoot someone.

that plot was horrible. if it was a movie the damm thing would be trashed to oblivion.

Mario Sunshine had a horrible plot also, but it was pretty fun.

Gears of War-> Horrible plot and short!!!

If the locus live underground why do they have eyes? And wouldn't those bat creatures be way to powerful? Naturaly they would eat everything, then just die off....
