Worst Game You Played This Year

Rented it. Played it for 10 minutes, then returned it.

Probably the worst game I played all year. Wish I could remove it from my trophy list.

I wish it was at least decent, but no! It was just horrible. The execution of Mirror's Edge hardcore parkour was pretty awful, the AI was the worst I ever saw (I felt like the enemy AI was one of the smartest I had ever faced, which would be good if my AI partners didn't have hollow heads), the multiplayer is fun but will wear on you shortly, incredibly hard levels (there was this one level where I had to stop a missle from destroying the Ark tower and I never could stop it), the story was cliche at best and the voice acting was decent but it was offset by their long horse ass face (who came up with that design and why!?).

I was hoping for some kind of fun little shooter with TF2 team based action mixed with Mirror's Edge platforming. What I got...was s#it.

Homefront.

MW3 or Crysis 2. It's difficult to decide between these two perfect turds.

My definition of worst in this case will be the game(s) I had the least amount of fun playing this year. A few of these will be games from the past, as the title did not specify Worst Game Played released in 2011.

Skyrim.

The Witcher, the first one.

NCAA 12.

Morrowind.

Fallout 1 and 2.

That's all I can think of right now.

EDIT: Crysis 2. I forgot all about this one. Maybe if I had played Crysis 1 it would have been better but, damn. Boring.

Close between Duke Nukem Forever and Brink. Neither was terrible, they were both functioning games, but they were both just thoroughly bland.

I would have to say Uncharted 2 since I bought it in june in preperation for the third. It completely steered me away from that series... It still seemed like a waste for $30

Battlefield 3 comes to mind. I really hated that game.

If its any game I played this year, then BorderLands.

If its only from 2011, then Pokemon Black. But thats only because I've only played 3 games from this year.

Ace Combat AH, just horrible. :(

Mine's was Sonic Generation's, Skylander's and mostly. Ughh i don't know...

Brink, Skyrim, Dead Island, come to mind, so buggy and glitchy.

the witcher 2, and I thought DA2 was bad....

Battlefield 3's campaign. Nearly bored me into a damn coma.

I can't think of any truly horrible games I played, so I guess I'll say Brink, though that was more of a disappointment. I was still able to get some enjoyment out of it.

Dynasty Warriors 7. It's my first from the series, and I expected the combat to be decent at the very least. It was terrible. So, so terrible. I ended up selling it but I was actually thinking about keeping so when I felt like buying another DW game I could play 7 to remind myself how bad it is. Instead I downloaded the Strike Force demo, which will certainly do the job if I ever think about buying another DW game.

Too much coming out to buy anything that wasn't going to definitely be awesome. I can think of a few disappointments but I can't pick a worst. They were all 8+.

Pilotwings Resort, I guess. I didn't really play any bad games this year though.

It didn't come out this year but Lords of Shadow. I bought it around 2011 and wish I hadn't

I don't recall not enjoying any of the games I bought this year. Of course, I did rent Crysis 2, and I got bored of that game fast, but still...

i recently downloaded a bunch of games off of steam, and omg metro 2033 is terribad! did people actually hype this trash? also splinter cell conviction is just horrendous! not even worth $4.99!

I know I am right. Mario Galaxy , Mario Kart Wii, Mario Strikers < All map packs, And how many more times are they gonna release Mario 64, TOOT, and Starfox 64? I am telling ya I might be on to something here.
