really? not me.....the only reason I want to upgrade my PC is for crysis and far cry2 other than that the console is perfect for me

Focus on recycling mostly everything that was innovated in previous generations instead of trying something completely new and unorthodox. Only a small minority of the developers are actually creating new and exciting games... at least from what I have seen.

The 32-64 bit era was the worst for me.

It pioneered 3D but quality gaming that made the most of it was spread pretty thinly.

Goldeneye, SSB, Perfect Dark, Mario Kart 64, Turok 64, Star Fox 64, Twisted Metal, Spyro the Dragon, Syphon Filter, Jet Moto, MGS, Tekken 3, Crash Bandicoot 2 and junk food was GOD to me back then.

This is the worst - the generation of more FPS than ever before, whoop-de-friggin-doo! I still don't think I've played one better than Goldeneye yet, it's seriously pathetic. Where did the spark of originality in game design go? I'm fed up of playing the same damn games I've been playing for 15 years with nothing to get excited about but new graphics.

The last time I got really excited about the gaming industry was when the first MMOGs started to appear, but even those have become stale over time. And a lot of them suck a whole lotta meat, attracting only retarded and immature pr*cks. *cough* WoW *cough*.
