Worst RPG of the last decade?

IYO? I chose the worst RPGs that everyone agrees are garbage. So which is the worst RPG of the last decade?

It's a tough decision. FFVIII was completely broken, Jade Empire had awful combat, LO was just a disaster, Radiata Stories was bad too, and Tales of Symphonia had the worst gameplay of almost any JRPG to date.

I'd have to say Tales of Symphonia, just because it sucked in every department, while at least most of the others actually had a decent story to go along with them.

We get it, you don't like JRPG...

Anyway I'd say Metal Dungeon.

Mass Effect.

Well, no, probably not, but definitely the worst BioWare RPG I've played.

Why don't you put games that are actually BAD like Enchanted Arms or seomthing... What's with the trollingf50p90

There are a lot worse RPGs then Enchanted Arms, I actually enjoyed that game :p

If you really want to play a horrible I mean horrible rpg go play lunar dragon song. Somebody choke me to death before I play that game. Running away and losing hit points what a dumb idea. If I was making the game I would fire the whole design team and start over from scratch. The game should not even have the name lunar attached to that game.project-exile

I agree 100%. You can't even choose for yourself which monster you want to attack during a battle, either. :|

Prsonally all of those were good games. Just not special. Id rather put something bad like Blue Dragon, Enchanted Arms, FF X-2......................................Fable..

What does this poll imply i wonder ?

Anyway, FF12 hands down, worst RPG i have EVER played, or TBH have not played, since you just move the heroes, and they do all the battles for you, WHAT A GARBAGE !!!!

FF12 is my pick by miles, nothing comes as close to NOT playing a game as this one, the next step is to make a script to move the heroes wihtout user input, so you can go on holiday, knowing FF12 will have finished itself when you get back, instead of having to wait in fron of your tv, doing nothing but moving one of the pad sticks forward

Anyway, worst I've played would have to be Orphen for the PS2.

I am not a huge elder scrolls fan, but I've at least seen them all (and played daggerfall somewhat extensively), and I don't understand why people say oblivion is not an RPG.

it's the very definition of an rpg game. you get better at everything by actually doing the stuff

I prefer an RPG that actually has consequences for your choices. IMO, an RPG that allows you to rule all of the major international conglomerates (guilds) at the same time is not really an RPG.

I prefer an RPG that actually has consequences for your choices. IMO, an RPG that allows you to rule all of the major international conglomerates (guilds) at the same time is not really an RPG.
