Would any of you have a girlfriend if you didn't game so much, Like me?

maybe you should join another site other than gamespot? Like a meeting site. Then you could have the best of both worlds. A woman who has the same interests as you and the games.

Of course I don't have a GF either but my life is spent working more than gaming.

The other night's thread got me thinking, because most people on gamespot said they would rather have a girlfriend than the winning console in sales. I was surprised, since I said that I would definitely rather have the winning game console. I still would, but I also think that I might game too much- usually 5-6 hours a day after work, and 15+ hours per day on the weekends. I probably order pizza 6 days a week, and have for the past 14 years or so (ever since I started working, during the SNES days). I only have friends on gamespot and on XBOX Live, other than some people at work (I work in customer support at a large computer manufacturer). I never go out, but should I start gaming less? I am 37 now, and am starting to fear that I may never have kids (to game with :lol: ), and I am a pretty big guy, around size 42 pants. I am thinking that maybe I should shave off the beard, game maybe an hour or two less a day, so I can get out of the house more. I really think that I would have a girlfriend if I didn't game so much. But I love gaming! :lol: Especially my 360, PS2, and Wii!! :lol:accameron

In my case noI wouldn't. Gaming has nothing to do why I don't have a girlfriend it just fulfills that void. In your case I'd say you just need to find someone close to you, like someone at your job. Oh and btw stop ordering so much pizza and get some excercise. So much pizza is not a good thing.

Still going strong and she plays games with me. Not as much as I do personally though.

you should definitely cut back on gaming and try signing up for a gym...my girlfriend hated it when i played games so i agreed to play a little less...(i only play abotu an hour or two at the most anyways and some daysi dont play at all because i go to college and work full time). Anyways im 20 and my girlfriend of 3 yearsis sexy...i would say just find a girl at your work, a bar, etc. Just get out there...theres somebody for everybody

I'd say to you if you get a girlfriend try to double the amount of personal time you have with her from how many hours of games you play but theres no way you could spend 30 hours with her one weekend and game? Well with any good sleep that is.

Here's a formula for you.

Play games for three hours a day and make love to her for twice that everyday too.

I;m doing ok. I'm middle management at my company, but I mostly answer the call center tech support. Seriously though, I really like blonde or brunettes in their 20s, not fat. Also, who like playing video games. I did take a girl out a couple year ago to red lobster and we had fun (blind date set up by my co-worker), but she didn't want to go out again because she said that he job moved to the night shift all the time. If I could find like a college aged girl that loved gaming, I would be really excited.

My wife plays Warhawk more than I play all other games combined lol. I just purchased a bluetooth device and now shes talking trash lol. So no, not stopin me.

I can't say that if I had that much time to play games I would. I simply have other priorities, including a relationship. But if you enjoy gaming and it makes you happy, by all means, do what you do. In the end, if you want a chick bad enough, you'll put the controller down and go hunt.
