I think that would kill one of the main points of the console -- you can play them in your living room while sitting in your favorite chair. Mouse/Keyboard makes that dificult. Dual analog has more limitations than i was willing to accept. The IR pointer and motion controls on the Wii gives you the best of both worlds. If lets say starcraft 2 was ported to the 360 with the manditory requirement of mouse/keyboard, would you buy it?

Does it matter? Eventually almost everything well be done by computer, its only a matter of time before consoles are integrated into computers. Though if I had to choose now I would say no because thats not what the console is about (though I suppose I wouldnt really mind it-but it would really make PC and Console's too simillar).
Thats crap. Playing PvP or instances would be a pain. The hotkeys really help.MMO's play fine wothout keyboards and mice

They still don't have the advantage of upgrading. There's already some add one that console gamers can use to play with M&K even on games like Halo 3. But it's just awkward, the point of console gaming for me is laying on a couch, grab the pad and start moving the sticks around. that's it for me.Than the transition of consoles becoming PCs would be complete, so No.
