[QUOTE="SolidTy"]Yeah, maybe.
Who in the heck wants to wait around for maybe's though? Not me.

No, but you can hope for clone sequals. If they don't have a PS3, I can see them holding out hope.
Yeah, I guess....meanwhile people are playing...possibly LBP2 or even LBP3 by the time it happens. I am all for clones, as long as they are good games, though.
Wii: Maybe, but it'll suck because of Wii's hardware and online capabilities. 360: Maybe it can be done, but it'd had to be on multiple disc or squeezed on to one. It wouldn't be the same Even if Nintendo and Microsoft did copy Sony's gem it'd probably only be known as a LBP Clone and get a reception because its a clone for ex. see GTA clonesStingerVXIII
I don't really see MS or Nintendo making the clone. Well maybe not Nintendo.
If it happens it will be a third party company more than likely.

Dont presume that LBP wouldnt fit on a single DvD9, we dont know how much space it uses yet. Not that i think it'd ever ever be ported.

I agree with you. Look at all the great games we got because of Mario 64. A number of people don't really understand all that game did. In one of my gaming classes we had a whole chapter on how that game changed platformers.
If LBP can even push a small amount of what Mario 64 did. We can see a number of great games.

Yeah, forget Mario 64's influence (Although Mario 64 really did so much for the 3D gaming realm), Mario 64's predessor Super Mario Bros.. really influenced so much. People are playing Braid today that never played a 2D mario title....so yeah, good clones, can be great.
If we are talking relevance to modern game design, Mario 64 all the way (funny thing, I read in an interview that Miyamoto was displeased with it, and wanted to postpone it to add powers, etc, but Nintendo needed it for Launch, as the N64 only had two launch titles.)

Uses around 40gb and it can't be ported. Sony's publishing it and Sackboy is Sony's new mascot. Would Nintendo or Microsoft port a flagship game featuring their mascot to another console? I think not Also I never assumed it wouldn't fit on a dvd, I said it'd have to be squeezed on one disc.i can realy see nintendo doing it, little big planet in it self looks very nintendoish. If they try to make a clone of it they will probley make something similar and staring mario as well as be 1st partyEmperorZeruel
Working around the Wii's Limitation's would remove (or limit) many features of LBPWii, from graphics, to online...still, a Nintendo version would be interesting, as they would have their own take on the game. Nintendo's a proud company though, I don't know if they would clone it.

I wonder if he is ever happy with his titles. I read also that when SMG was done he kept going back in and changing it to make the game harder. To the point he was told to stop because he was making it to hard.
I can tell you a couple of the levels "If that is what you want to call it" are hard has crap in that game.
Anyways your right look at all the GTA clones out now. Clones help push gaming forward and feel right. Sometimes you rather play a type of game which feels right rather than something off the wall.
You must have not seen where you can install whole game on 360 hard drive with new dash hitting soon. So they could put it on a few dvd's and just do that, would be identical. also 360 has better graphics than ps3, ps3 ugly low detail textures.

If so then my bad ;)

So, you would be suggesting a 40gig install? There goes the majority of 360 users out the door.

Well then the disc space would completely be up to whomever is making it then. Not EVERY 360 owner has an overpriced hdd. Hell I only have a 20gb. That idea is stupid. Also 360 doesn't beat PS3 in graphics and vice versa. You must have not seen where you can install whole game on 360 hard drive with new dash hitting soon. Whats sad is i have an Elite, and i've used less space on it than i did with my premium, still got all the space on it actually (115gig or so), lol
But yeah you're right, i'd imagine its a small percentage of owners that have the Elite (or larger HDD) compared to Pro owners.
I'm sure at least Microsoft will attempt to make a clone of it... They've been ripping off Buzz and Singstar, LBP is most likely next.

That is because the other crime sims are generally crap compared to GTA, Im sure if somebody made a decent one it would be considered as being in the same genre as appose to being a rip off (not every fps that pinches idea's from HL is called a rip off). Im sure a decent platformer which revolves around a map editor could be equally successful, but I can't see it happening anyway thankfully.
I hope not. User created content should be a secondary addition to games, not the primary focus.foxhound_fox
well this game looks cool because of the user content.
I think Halo & Zelda was a bigger seller for 360 & Wii than LBP ever will be for PS3.
Plus 360 and Wii have better exclusives than PS3.
[QUOTE="Tony-Harrison"]You keep saying that   :lol:Plus 360 and Wii have better exclusives than PS3.
MKLOL
Well, according to Gamespot:
Wii: four exclusives scored 9 or more.
PS3: one exlcusive ranked 10.
