Would you buy a PS3 just for Little Big Planet?

I read this new article at 1up on LBP's poor sales so far. According to the associate producer of LBP, he was recorded saying that the game would be a "system seller." Also, LBP's development title was called, "The Next Big Thing."

Talk about overconfidence. Saying it's the next big thing and a system seller way before the game was even out?

Anyway, what does everyone else think? Would you buy a PS3 just for Little Big Planet?

God no.

I think Little Big Planet has a phenomenal presentation, beautiful art style, solid creation tools, and an extremely cute protagonist, but the platforming, the means to traverse what you create, just feels completely off to me.

PS3 for Versus XIII, Uncharted, and Folklore? Hell freaking yes.

No, I wouldn't buy a console just for one game.

Like most people, I would not buy a console for one game, unless you're freaking rich and don't care about money.

What brought me to the PS3 wasn't necessarily its games, though I love what I have, it's the console itself, the fact that Sony makes reliable and useful (Blu-Ray) stuff.

Though MGS4, LBP, KZ2 and GoW 3 (Fallout 3, Bioshock, RE5, Oblivion etc... as multiplats) are making me feel good about my choice.

There are no games I'd really like to have and I can't, because I own a Wii and the 360 has nothing to offer me especially.

I own a PS3 already and didn't buy it...so I guess the obvious answer you'll get from me is "no". but hey...if it's your kind of game, do it. it's very good at what it does.Dreams-Visions

I don't think it's worth an extra $400 when LBP isn't even worth $60. LBP is a rental at best.

Well, if the game WAS worth the $60 then more people would buy it, right?
