well......... 360 and ps3 have great games and both consoles are awesome but there are some games that i want to play but unfortunely one console has that game, such as Uncharted 2, everyone says this game is better than the first one. The good thing is that Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 are on 360 and ps3 XD.

i like both consoles but i can only pick one :( and both have great graphics.

One last question: Which console has better online gaming?

May I ask why only one? you can only get one, read up on the games available and pick the one with the library you prefer.

If I had the money I would think owning both systems would be very beneficial. And I guess it's matter of opinion (idk) but Xbox Live is a bit superior to PSN, but of course there's a membership you have to pay for. Just go with what you want. It's your choice to make. Not ours.

You can't go wrong with either system:)

I guess you could determine your decision based on if more of your friends have a 360 or ps3. That way you can play online with all of your friends...

As two users above me said, it really depends where your friends are and which library you prefer. For gaming purposes, the rest is negligible (facebook on console, bluray, etc)

I couldn't choose just one. Get both if at all possible. If not, then look over which console you think you'll like the exclusives for more and go with that,

360 just feels more like a gaming system. and its more fun to play. i used mt ps3 mainly as a upscaler for my dvdsand theblu ray player of course.and its exclusives before it died on me.

I am not a hardcore console gamer.

Here is how i made my decision last month.

Price: (draw)

PS3 slim and 360 Elite are both $299.

Feature: (PS3 wins)

PS3 uses blue-ray disc, a blue-ray player with video feature like PS3 cost $200+. If you have a HDTV and need a blue-ray player, you should consider it.

Moreover, blue-rau disc means no change disc during gaming. lol i remember FF8 has4 discs

PS3 uses bluetooth controller.

PS3 has Wifi, and it's not included in 360 elite bundle

PS3 has free online service, 360 doesnt. i dont want to pay $50 an yearfor playing games online occasionally.

Games: (draw)

Graphics: 360 wins on multi-platforms games, but PS3 has better exculsive games than 360 in terms of graphics.

Titles: both have good games.

Im kind of hit and miss on this subject, i like my 360 because of the larger game selection, the achievement system, and overall set of of the system, but i have also always been a loyal Playstation fan. The only reason i havn't gone out and gotten a ps3 is because i don't have the money to pay for one. I want the blue ray player and some of the games that are ps3 exclusive, but just cant afford it. so i really say its a draw between the two systems.

Ive owned both, and even though I know the PS3 is the better bang for your buck (blueray, built in wi-fi).. I still feel the 360 is the better gaming system, especially for online play.

Unless you just love the Halo, Gears, or Forza games, the 360 is a waste of money.

I bought a PS3 first and then a 360, but now... I'm not sure which I would choose. If I chose the PS3 I would miss out on Lost Odyssey, Fable II, Halo 3, Mass Effect, etc. If I chose the 360 I'd miss out on MGS4, Uncharted 2, Resistance 2, etc.

At least either way I would get all the great multiplats available. :) Dragon Age, Batman, MW2, etc.

PS3 I bought one of those $99 Walmart 360s and now I'm adding up the extras and it's going to cost way more. Harddrive, Online fees, wifi, etc... And with MS banning anyone who "mods" their console you can't even feel safe trying to save money buy buying used or 3rd party accessories. You get more with PS3 and it costs less.

If I could afford a PS3 I'd have one. The 360 was cheaper so I got that.

I actually agree with this. I bought an arcade model and I cannot afford to pay for microsofts overpriced addons. And if I buy a used or 3rd party HD I will possibly get banned for "pirating". If I go ahead and buy microsofts wireless adaptor, HD, and live it will cost me 50 dollars MORE than it cost me to buy the console itself. I've actually considered selling my 360 since I can't even buy a cheaper HD now without risking TEH BANT.

I'd personally got with an xbox - larger online community and most x360 exclusives have a great online component. PS3 has great games, but once you beat them, form what my friends have told me, they barely touch them ever again and their console starts collecting dust again.

I for a long time have supported the PS3 but lately I've been thinking really hard about the 360. I think in the end it should be what games you want to play, think about exclusive titles.

It depends of what games you want. I prefer 360 mostly for its exclusives, PC/360 games and controller. Im also glad that multiplat wise it never desapoints

Buy whatever you like. Do your research on what you prefer rather than asking for everyone elses opinions.

At this point, you can't really go wrong with either. Both have plenty of games to choose from.

If I were you, i'd get whatever your friends have. No fun having a next gen console if you can't play online with friends, that is, unless you have none.

whichever one more of your friends play on. i was leaning towards ps3 for the past couple weeks because of uncharted 2 and killzone, but then i realized i'd get pretty bored of playing with strangers online because none of my friends play those games online (even the ones that own them). so now i've decided that i'd have more fun on 360 just because i could play with all my friends. they're both awesome consoles with awesome games, but for me it all came down to who i could play with online.

I would pick the PS3 unless you play a lot online. I mean the PS3 is fine to play online(no lag) but it is a smaller community, not cross chat and no in game music. I don't play online much at all so I don't want to pay for those features. I just bought the Arcade with the $100 walmart deal and I feel the PS3 is more reliable system from the build quality(drive is really loud and just overall parts). Since I don't really play online I will keep getting my multiplats on the PS3 since I don't want to have something go wrong with my xbox and I will just use it for exclusives. I have only played a couple games and I can see where the XBOX controller has better control over the sticks but I can also see where the Dpad on the PS3 is better. Really not much of a deal breaker. I do see that the XBOX does offer more splitscreen ability in their games Halo, LFD, Fable, and Gears. The only decent ps3 exclusive that offers this is Resistance so that could factor if you want to have people over playing on the same system. I think the games are just going to be personal prefernce since both systems have great games. I just love Uncharted series too much to pick and Xbox over a PS3 and reliability is important to me. Though I can see where people who play online a lot might chose the xbox over it.

one massive pro for ps3, the controllers can't be "dead" they have a removable cord so you can play while you charge, but when it gets full ditch that stupid little wire. whereas 360 you have to either recharge it and not play for a while or go through countless AA batteries.
