I agree. I remember I was actually really looking forward to Black Ops. I've actually ended up playing MW and MW2 more recently. I lost my CoD 2 though. :(COD2>MW>>MW2>>>Blops

This man, here, knows the truth. And he spreads it. Thank him.Better than the two Modern Warfare games if that's what you're curious about, but not necessarily a great game.

[QUOTE="Doolz2024"]lol, no. It's the worst besides CoD3, in my opinion.jm92590Let's just say it is one of the most "balanced" CoDs. Not sure If I would take it much further than that.. COD4 is very balanced.

Grenades sure do have a large blast radius. ;) Two whole teams using x3 frag against each other as I join the game = Me going insane!
COD4 is still my favorite. The single-player campaign, while short, had some really great moments. "All Ghillied Up" is one of the greatest missions in any FPS ever, IMO (very cool atmosphere).
But COD hasn't evolved much since then, which is a shame because COD 1, 2, and 4 actually brought something new to the genre when they were released.
If you thought that MW2 was a horrible follow up, then Black Ops undoes all its wrongs and more. However, if you thought that MW2 was the best game in series at that point, then BO might feel like a step back on some levels.
Personally, the only thing stopping me from buying BO is the price.
Oh, God no. Call of Duty 4 probably will remain the best overall package in the series forever.
Black Ops is a confused mess of a campaign packaged with a confused mess of a multiplayer component. So at least it's consistent, but not in a good way.
ehhhh...idk about that.....CoD2 still holds the title for the king of the series...
cod4 is the fan favorite
black ops is "redeemer" so to speak

Actually this is a pretty accurate description.CoD4 left the most indelible impression of any game in the series before everyone started copying it and each subsequent CoD became a rehash of basically what we recieved with the first Modern Warfare title. CoD2 was the one to cement the franchise though, being a 360 launch title, a good game in it's own right on all aspects and of course the first "real" console Call of Duty. I'd consider CoD2 my person favorite overall, as I've spent more time playing it online than any other game in the series, with CoD1 and CoD4 close behind. I first played it on my second laptop I ever had in complete DX7 mode glory LOL. Many good mods for CoD2 too.
Black Ops the best CoD ever? Ummm:lol::lol::lol:!!! Not even close. Imo, the series stopped being good at 4. I would say 2 and 4 are by faaarrrrrrrrr the best CoD games! As a series for me....CoD 4>CoD 2>CoD 1>Black Ops>WaW>MW2>CoD 3
MW1 is still my favorite, but BO is a really good game as well. I would say it goes like this for me. MW1 > BO > MW2 > WaW.
