Would you hate MS if they made a remote like Nintendo for next gen?

I hope M$ continues with the 360 controller and just keep perfecting that design while Nintendo goes in a different direction. There is plenty of room for two companies in the consol market.

Nope. I'd just smile, knowing that NIntendo's "gimmick" had become the industry standard.

No, I wouldn't hate them. It just means a better variety of games are possible.

They already made a remote, but yeah they wouldn't be so dumb to make it the standard controller. They would probably make it the peripheral or add on. I still like playing my games, not playing my controller.

Sony sorta already borrowed the motion sensing with the sixaxis, so I think MS will definitely come out with some sort of motion sensing controller. I think it will become the standard next gen.

I would be really upset, and I would probably stop gaming if everything went to stupid motion sensing.    Leave that crap to B movie's, and Nintendo.

Besides Why on earth would MS do that when they are doing as good as they are right now ?  MS caters to the Hardcore gamer, while Nintendo caters to kids mostly.

Why would they do that when there are so many great games out for the 360 on the regular control pad. Microsoft could continue to make games on the regular controller, Nintendo could make games with the motion sensing, Sony could take a regular controller and stick a crappier motion control system into it at the last miniute, and say that nintendo's controller is just a gimmick. Just like what their doing so far.

Yes, because I don't want game design, story, and depth to take a back seat to control schemes.

I think we'd have a lot of lemming anti-Wiimote posts from this gen being bumped, that's for sure.

By next generation developers will have learned to fully utilize Nintendo's control scheme to make great games. If Microsoft chooses not to evolve then they will die out.

i agree. If you hate it, go deal. There's a high chance all of next gen systems will have motion sensing.
