A movie is a cheaper better experience than a movie game
5 hours is just not enough for a 60 dollar game i need tons of replayability for a 60 dollar game aka like destiny or something that i can play over an over again
5 hours na bro 60 is way overcosted

I am glad The Order flopped. If it had been a success we would see more studios do meaningless work and make games that are 5 hours long. $60 for a game of this length is just robbery. Throw in no coop and multiplayer and you have a movie. Sad.
Depends on pricing. $60 is steep for a 5-hour long game heavily focused on cinematics. I'm not saying I would never purchase a game like that at $60, but it would have to spin a very good yarn.
If priced more reasonably, like at $30 or $40, I'd consider it a lot more. That's what I liked about Ground Zeroes' pricing. I mention it knowing it's not the same, but I'd definitely like there to be more dynamic pricing in the industry in the future.
@FoxbatAlpha:
there are plenty of 5 hour games in the market, so I do not get what you point even is.
And beside, a game's success is measured by its sales not scores. If the game sells a couple of millions then you know it will have sequels.
Most 5 hour games were not hyped to this level, in production 5 years, have multiplayer and coop to add some replay and are indies. Sales is a different topic.
Movie.Games are ment to be PLAYED, not WATCHED like movies. Games are NOT movies. When are developers going to realize this?
I don't really mind if a game is 5 hours....And it's amazing. I mind if the game is 5 hours and it's filled with unskippable cut-scenes, QTEs, and with very little gameplay, that happens to be meh-ish gameplay.
Destiny's main, err...."campaign"(?) isn't much longer than five hours. I played and enjoy that game.
Oh look. Someone trying to claim ownage on a speed run of a game that's not on their system. Oh internet, how you disappoint me.
well the ownage part would be that it got a 5 and flopped
but where is the evidence that the 5 hour thing was a speed run
@R3FURBISHED:
but it's also filled with co-op and pvp activities. And, for the story, you get gameplay for 6 hours. Not qtes and unskippable cut scenes.

Destiny has unskippable cutscenes....

Also, those other "5 hour games," unspecified, of course, probably had more than two hours of actual game play.
The movie. I'm more content with my import UK DVD copies of Scott Pilgrim and Police Story than paying $60 for a game that lacks content.
Crap, I'd spend more on a James Bond DVD Collection and I'd STILL get more enjoyment.
I don't think I've ever bought a movie game. Seriously when your gameplay is as deep as a QTE section from any other game I'll avoid at all costs.
I have bought lots of short, but enjoyable games. But I do wait until the price is right. 10 euro for MGS V Ground Zeroes was perfect for me.
Greatness awaits...4 the players...
I'm lucky I have a WiiU and an xbone for exclusives. The ps4 exclusives are mediocre.

Tiny Corridor games that only have good graphics as a positive never score well.
Look at Ryse for Xbone for example... 4.0
I'd rather pay $7 for a 2hr movie then $60 for a 5 hour cinematic movie trying to be a game.
I paid $7 to see Kingsman: The Secret Service and it was well worth the money. Damn that movie was over the top. Nothing was held back and the body count was through the roof.
If you're asking would I buy The Order 1886, the answer is a no. Though, I may be willing to try it when it's cheaper if people have good things to say about it.
Anyhow, Vanquish was like 5 hours long and that game was awesome.
Game, there is ultimate replay value.
except the order......sadly
I could manage to play that multiple times.
Would you really watch the same cut scenes over and over? Well a least you will get maybe 6 hours of actual gameplay from those replays.
It depends on what that 5 hour game is, because most of my favorite games of all time are shorter than that. Since this is obviously about The Order though, I wouldn't even buy it for $5.
