Imagine yourself playing the game only with your body. Or maybe with a water pistol and a wooden sword. Want? :D

RPG sounds more fun than a FPS.

FPS? I can't see it working very well at this point in time. RPG? Still sceptical but alot better than a FPS.

Neither sounds like the kind of thing Kinect, on its own, can handle.

Maybe finger paints?

Too bad Kinect is not capable of this as proven many times over and over again. 99.9% of it's games will be party games and onrail shooters. The other 0.1% will be games attempting whay you describe and be utter failures.

Definitely not. I wouldn't play a FPS with Move either.

RPGs tend to be fairly long. Do you really want to stand up and swing your arms to fight for a fraction of 30+ hours?

I don't, personally. At least with the Wii there are more lazy ways of swinging the Wii-mote.

Neither. Flailing arms around in the air while the camera desperatly tries to pick up the right motions is neither fun nor engaging.

I'd rather play those, and any other game with a controller on my 360.

If they had a RPG and all of my party members had Milo-like interactivity or it used the vocal and facial recognition tech, I'd give it a shot.

I'll play anything if it's good. That won't be the case with a Kinect exclusive fps or rpg.

personally Ithink the best thing for kinect would ba game like Ammesia:DD. other than that, an RPG sound better than FPS if they could get the movment mechanics good with minimal lag. Also Hack and slash could work again if they get movment down with minimal lag.

QFT! If they implemented the control scheme well I would definately try it. My only worry about Kinect for MS is the technology is to unproven right now. I hope they can do more than gimmicks and party games with it.

If it was good yes. However, thats about as likely as a top notch (W)RPG on the Wii.

So long as it isn't an action-RPG (i.e. Oblivion) then I'd have no problems. Unless of course I was forced to stand. A new-gen Wizardry-type game would be incredible awesome, especially if it involved gestures for spell-casting, or interactive areas for puzzle-solving.

ms wants japan very bad. i think they will buy kinect better then alot thinks. and ms knows japan loves rpgs what better way to lure them in by making a rpg like they have never played before. a great kinect rpg could bring the xbox brand to life over there. so its a good guess to think ms is paying top notch rpg devs big bucks to start working on rpgs.

You truly believe people in Japan would be interested in the xbox brand? Did you forgot MS already tried to get a foothold in Japan with RPG's on the 360? They failed and Kinect won't make a difference... wanna know why?

People in Japan don't buy **** hardware that has a self destruct mechanism built into them.
