Imagine yourself playing the game only with your body. Or maybe with a water pistol and a wooden sword. Want? :D

Too bad Kinect is not capable of this as proven many times over and over again. 99.9% of it's games will be party games and onrail shooters. The other 0.1% will be games attempting whay you describe and be utter failures.
RPGs tend to be fairly long. Do you really want to stand up and swing your arms to fight for a fraction of 30+ hours?
I don't, personally. At least with the Wii there are more lazy ways of swinging the Wii-mote.
I'll play anything if it's good. That won't be the case with a Kinect exclusive fps or rpg.

QFT! If they implemented the control scheme well I would definately try it. My only worry about Kinect for MS is the technology is to unproven right now. I hope they can do more than gimmicks and party games with it.
I would scan my feet for hand and play FPS lying on my bedImagine yourself playing the game only with your body. Or maybe with a water pistol and a wooden sword. Want? :D

it would be better then paying 20 bucks for that the move controller goes into. that has trigger lag http://gear.ign.com/articles/112/1129061p1.htmlImagine yourself playing the game only with your body. Or maybe with a water pistol and a wooden sword. Want? :D

personally Ithink the best thing for kinect would ba game like Ammesia:DD. other than that, an RPG sound better than FPS if they could get the movment mechanics good with minimal lag. Also Hack and slash could work again if they get movment down with minimal lag.mayceVi would NOT play amnesia with kinect......not because i think it would fail but to immerse myself THAT deep in that game would almost guarantee a heart attack...

Like so...How would you walk in an RPG?
Ragnarok1051
Why walk... when you can dance!

Alone in the midst of the night with nothing but some 3D glasses and a turtle beach headset. That would be scary. DO WANT!

So long as it isn't an action-RPG (i.e. Oblivion) then I'd have no problems. Unless of course I was forced to stand. A new-gen Wizardry-type game would be incredible awesome, especially if it involved gestures for spell-casting, or interactive areas for puzzle-solving.

How many rpgs have been announced or even rumored for Kinect?ms wants japan very bad. i think they will buy kinect better then alot thinks. and ms knows japan loves rpgs what better way to lure them in by making a rpg like they have never played before. a great kinect rpg could bring the xbox brand to life over there. so its a good guess to think ms is paying top notch rpg devs big bucks to start working on rpgs.[QUOTE="Ragnarok1051"][QUOTE="monson21502"] kinect will have the best rpgs. i cant wait to see them at TGS next year.monson21502Jumping the gun aren't you? You truly believe people in Japan would be interested in the xbox brand? Did you forgot MS already tried to get a foothold in Japan with RPG's on the 360? They failed and Kinect won't make a difference... wanna know why?
People in Japan don't buy **** hardware that has a self destruct mechanism built into them.
