Well, WoW was set up with PC customisation in mind, it was designed to be enriched by an open platform. For example:
It needs a lot of RAM, raiding and PvP can mean an extreme amount is going on. I'm not sure consoles would always be able to deal, especially in terms of bandwidth.
It's an absolute monster prescense on HDDs, the games like 10 Gigs + excluding recent patches, user made content, UI programs or the expansion.
WoW basically relies on user made mods and content, like CTRaid and programs which manipulate the UI, which is impossible on consoles.
The most used chat services, TeamSpeak and Ventrillo, would be inaccessible, meaning that console players would either have to go without or only talk to other console players.
Plus, the game is designed in such a way KB/M use is mandatory. You'd need to have it standard with each piece of software.
