I wish they were because I think they are a great developer. One of the two things I'll miss by not buying a PS4 is their games. But them alone aren't enough to justify me buying a system that doesnt have the games I want most. But having said that, ND is awesome and I will miss their work.

Its funny how people are quick to discredit their pedigree yet forgeting they are a small developer. Most people are quick to say Valve, Rockstar but they forget those are not developers, they are publishers now, they have gotten that big, Naughty Dog are a small team of developers that have variety in their port folio that puts even publishers like EA to shame in terms of innovation.

They have strong platformers in Crash Bandicoot, Jack n Dexter, a strong Kart racer in Crash Team Racing for which at the time really rivalled Mario Kart on N64, then the Uncharted series and now The Last of Us, the amount of creativity they have shown makes you wonder two things, would they have become as popular as those usually mentioned developers if they had been multiplat from the onset and if they were third party, would they have had the same creative freedom. Cause while on one hand they could have become very popular being third party, you cannot help but feel if they were under EA, we would have Uncharted 6 by now

As much as I would love them to work with PC capabilities, I need a reason to own a PS4, and they are #1 on that list.

No. They probably wouldn't be as good as they are right now. One of the benefits of being a single platform developer is that you only have to focus on one piece of hardware.

Also, I'm sure the funding they receive from Sony really does help quite a bit with development.

Yes, i would like all good developers to go multiplat. TLOU looks awesome, uncharted is a little childish but good fun.

This is Naughty Dog we are talking about.

Most every game they've made has taken obviously huge amounts of ideas from other competing games. 

Within the genres they have developed games in they have never made a truly genre-defining game. That's what keeps them from being up there with the likes of the best in the industry.

Thank you for highlighting that its your own opinion which is good cause its subjective. Objectively speaking, they are top tier and boast of a diverse portfolio in comparison to most development studios out there but hey if you wana take your opinion as fact then so be it

I'd be fairly indifferent towards it, don't see too much of an appeal in ND games, aside from the production values. When it comes to actual gameplay, I found all of their games unremarkable... though I can't comment on TLoU, haven't played it.

Suppose it'd be interesting to see how their games would look on a high-end PC, but that's about it.

The only naugthy dog game I played was crash bandicoot 1 and 2 on the playstation 1.

I would love to see that on Xbox Live, serious nostalgia value for me :)
