Its tough decision for me between Upgrading my PC ( old PC ) or buying Upgraded PS 4 ( Haven't got a PS 4 yet). If i see PS 4 third party titles releasing for PC by end of this year, i'll go PC. If not PS 4 definately.

Whats your next upgrade plans for your gaming needs Warriors? :)

I originally planned to get a VR headset and upgrade the PC. I budgeted around $1200 by the end of this year for this. But VR is super expensive. So I won't be able to do that.

If the NX is interesting I might get that instead, and then save up more money over the course of next year for VR and PC upgrade and hope for early price drops...

The PS4.5... I won't even look at it. I already have a PS4. If I didn't then I would have looked at it but I'm 0% interested in a more powerful PS4 that I never play on anyway. I'm working on increasing my income so that I can afford a good VR experience. But that will likely take over a year if at all possible... Ugh. Seems no matter how I look at it, I will have to wait at least a year and half before I can try VR and I'm super excited for it so that sucks.

I'll trade my PS4 in as I'm waiting for Nvidias Pascal before I upgrade again. Not that I need too mind you. X99 and dual 980ti's demolish everything I play.

I'll upgrade my cpu+mobo+rams with new stuff, not sure if I'll swap my 980ti out quite yet, as for consoles I can't say yet as not enough info has been given. Most likely no VR at least this year

PC already gets all the third party games

I plan on getting the NX and PSVR this year

The upgraded PS4, can't comment on it until Sony actually reveals it and tells us everything then I'll make my mind up on if its worth getting

My PC is still holding up really well. I think I'll buy a PS4 sometime this year as I already have a Xbone.

Not interested in unannounced consoles I know nothing about.

On the other hand, the Glacier White PS4 for 335 euro looks like a good deal to me, but I'm unsure to buy it seeing as how all these rumors about a new PS4 pop up...

I don't like my gtx970 much, shit's weak so an upgrade is what i plan on doing with the next Nvidia or AMD series. But it also depends what kind of power we'll be getting with PS4K. Being able to play 4k movies and gain 5fps in games isn't the kind of shit i'd consider an actual upgrade.

I'm happy with my 970 for a while yet, will upgrade in a year or to something like the 1070? Is that what they will call the next series.

The upgraded consoles and NX don't interest me

I love my current PS4, so I don't see a reason to buy another PS4 version unless it's really mandatory. I don't need to upgrade my PC anytime soon, it's Oculus Rift ready, so that leads to: buy a NX if Nintendo can WOW me at E3 2016.

About that GTX 970, the GTX 970 was released saying that it was better than it really was. My 970's box clearly states that it should have better performance than it really does. I bought the GTX 970 for the specs on the box before people figured out that it was not correct. It isn't a bad card - I love it, but when there's a better card at similar prices that doesn't lie on the box I will always say to get the 390 instead.

@silversix_: Yeah I have a GTX 970 as well. I was thinking of upgrading to 980ti but better just wait for pascal cards. So far there are rumors of 2x performance! I doubt it's that much but will wait and see.

Upgrade my PC, it is the best gaming platform and excels at things outside of gaming too. I dont have time for consoles any more.

Im tempted by PC but there are lots of things I want to achieve this year and that £800-£1000 entry point still puts me off a little.

I can see myself getting the NX if it can grasp and maintain third party support. I liked the quality of games on the wii U it was just the lack of third party and the slow release of software that tainted it slightly for me. If I can get those quality games and play 3rd party titles il be happy rolling with my X1 and NX

the 970 vs 390 is highly up to debate and depends if you play on 1080p or want to push higher. 970 has a lot headroom for OC can push to the levels of 980 while still packing a lot less heat and requiring a lot less power than the 390, but AMD has shown to have the lead in DX12 games atm thanks to async compute

Outside of some fans for my PC, I don't need to upgrade it at all. So most likely I'll be getting a PS4.5 or w/e it's called depending on what they plan on doing with it, if not then well w/e.

I would like to get a gaming PC but I am fearful to build one as never done it before. Think I will wait on actual specs for NX and will prolly get that...if at least a few third parties jump onboard.

Personally, I'd rather upgrade my PC once the new card lines come out (my gtx 770 is still going strong); and see what the NX has to offer. Not interested in a Xbox 1.5 or PS4.5 at all.

It might be a bit intimidating but rewarding experience for the first time, but it has gotten a lot easier over the years, heck even watercooling has super simple solutions these days.

PC and NX. NX will be my next console and as far as PC goes just waiting for the next run of cards to update from 970sli. Actually I already sold one 970 in preparation. Also figure by the time Nvidias next line of cards are out the Vive and Rift will have released a game or two that will have me ready to commit to one or the other. Leaning with the Vive right now.

I'm getting NX and a new GPU this year. I skipped Wii U and need me some Zelda, and this GTX 970's memory situation is just so dumb (and the reason why Polaris has my attention more than Pascal does).

My PC is still going strong. And I absolutely hate the route consoles are on at the moment. I will upgrade my PC, when I deem it necessary. I won't get a new console until something changes in that market. Then again, Nintendo's next console may surprise me. But I've had no interest in their last three consoles.

If funds weren't an issue, I'd do all of the above. But because they are, I'm more inclined to get a console. I'm already equipped with a 4K TV, plus the next upgrade I plan for my PC will include a VR headset and possibly an ultra wide monitor, which means I'm easily going to push $2k.

PS4k would be my pick right now, but once I know what NX is, maybe that.

Leaning towards NX but of course that could change when there is more info.

I already have a PS4, so assuming all the PS4 games will still run on it I won't upgrade it for a while.

PC>PS4>NX>One

PC: I am currently in the process of upgrading my 6 month old PC. You all know we PC gamers must update our PC every year, or lose out on the ability to play all our games. :P Wait, did I say 6 months? Sorry, I meant 6 years.

PS4: There is Bloodborne and Dragon Quest 11, but nothing else.

NX: A Nintendo Console means I will probably buy it later down the line. But I dont see much of a reason to hype a system that hasnt even been officially revealed yet. I will wait till I see what games are on it first.

One: The fact is. Being primarily a PC gamer, means I have little interest in getting this system. I buy consoles for the games they dont offer on PC. And from the looks of things, MS games will be ported to PC regardless.

No plans for now, I honestly don't want to think about that stuff. Huge backlog on Xbox One, I'll be lucky if I get through half of this during the summer. It's rock and roll this summer, gotta focus on more exercise and I need to get Fallout 4 done asap.

Upgrade my PC or look into the NX.

PS4 and Xbone are pretty terrible systems if you have a PC. I won't buy the next iterations unless Sony works on having a decent first party, and MS keeps games exclusive.
