spyro, we have enough shooters already. Dont get me wrong, resistance is great but Spyro....is crap these days and we need insomniac to fix that since spyros one of my favorite Video Game icons (yes, even over mario fanboiz)

I was heartbroken when I bought the first Spyro title for PS2 and couldn't play past the first level because the game just...completely sucked compared to the first three. I was just 10 at the time :cry:

• NC studio - new IP

Sony could probably find good developers to take on Resistance 4 and Ratchet and Clank if they really want to go forward with those series if Insomniac doesn't.

Another new IP please. Doesn't need to be MP, but a new IP. I want something more interesting than Overstrike, but that could work.

You didn't like Tools of Destruction? I didn't enjoy A Crack in Time, but as a big fan of the series, Tools of Destruction didn't disappoint. The music was great, the weapons were varied, and the levels were fun!

Weren't the rights for Spyro sold (or not held by Insomniac/Sony)? Anyways, I'd prefer they focus on the new game they announced.

I doubt Insomniac would go back to making Spyro but maybe they should make a Jak and Daxter game since them and Naughty Dog are close.

I don't like where Insomniac is taking itself with Overstrike. Looks even more ridiculous than the Resistance series. I loved the Spyro games on the PS1 and the R&C games on the PS2, but Insomniac can do so much more.

Since platformers are the company's line of expertise, we can maybe ask for more hybrid platformers. R&C did a splendid job of combining shooter, hack n' slash, and platforming elements all into one game. Let's get more games like that. Overstrike and Resistance are nothing more but quick cash-ins, knowing that the shooter market is the easiest market to make a profit in.

Resistance 3 is a great game. It has more soul and atmosphere in its presentation than any first person shooter single player campaign that i have played this year including Crysis 2, Killzone 3 and Portal 2. I won't include Deus Ex since that game is more than an FPS. Have you guys played Resistance 3's single player story campaign?

Resistance 4. As much as I love the Spyro games, and I really think there needs to be more platformer games and less FPS, I just love the Resistance series...

Spyro no question. Resistance doesn't hold a candle.

Never liked Spyro. Don't see the appeal I guess.

Spyro good times playing those when Insomniac made them, they all of the games are terrible.
