WOW. Cows, I congratulate u!

Before this day, I thought of the ps3's 08 lineup as pretty good. MGS4 seems awesome, killzone 2 i've had mixed feelings about but it can still end up good, GT5 looks beautiful, and Little Big Planet is a must buy. I thought that I can pass on those games and stick with my 360 since i'm only really interested in mgs4 and little big planet (I got forza and pgr to make up for GT5). But I have to say wow. Resistance 2 is coming out in 08 with 60 players online and 8 players co-op which is frickin' amazing. Insomaniac must never sleep. ps3's 08 is doing pretty good. At least better than 360. Remember when everyone was like there's nothing announced for 360 yet? I'm starting to think there's more unannounced for ps3 than 360. Tekken 6? Jack and Daxter? Cows, enjoy it.yazmanian-devil

it's good to own both a 360 and ps3 in 08, ps3 has the shooters, haze,killzone2, resistance 2 while 360 is very different this year than 2007 which is a good thing with ninja gaiden 2, fabel 2, lost odyssey and so on, 08 is going to be even better than 07 if you own both consoles.

And why does that matter? If they're good games, 360 owners will buy em. PS3 owners have all these newer hyped IP's that aren't selling squat.

same here, i though the ps3's lineup was excellent, but still passable. but now with r2 on the way, i think im actually going to have to buy one now

ive been putting off buying it for the longest time, just waiting for a reason. well, i guess the time is coming up soon. ill probably buy it the day mgs4 comes out (when is that again?)

All I know is that 360's lineup for 08 looks much more appealing to me than the PS3's..... to each his/her own though....

oh and PS. FFXIII is not coming out this year, at least not in North America...... GUARANTEED!

Killzone 2- While I did love the original...I don't see it beating out some of the shooters xbox 360 has

RFoM2 -Looks good; probably will check it out still not worth a console (specially with the new BF3 game coming out)

Little Big Planet is a major game PS3 owners are hyping and its anything but generic.

While hongkongking, in ONE way (the fact that 360's line up is looking pretty nice) is correct, he couldn't be more wrong in every other. And by the quality of his post it is just BLATENT that he is a fanboy, jealous of at least 1 of the PS3 titles of 08..

If I'm being completely honest with my own opinion, I'm going to have to go with PS3 having the better year, as its the year where a whole bundle of its *not anexagerration* most anticipated games are coming out, MGS4, Killzone 2, LBP, GT5..

While all that is going on I am not going to lie about this, I CANNOT WAIT FOR FABLE2. =D
