Ingame

Target

Considering the ingame shot you see above is taken off screen and is a bad representation of how the game actually looks, i'd say i'm very impressed with how close the devs got to the target footage. Unlike many other next gen games *ahum* halo 3 *ahum*

Edit: I fail at linking

Im done with World War 2 games, I have liberated france over a dozen times now.

My only exception will be the new company of heroes, cause that was just a great game.

Hopefully the blur in the top image doesn't make our brains "fill in the blanks" and make it appear better than it actually will be.

From the video I saw the sound effects are some of the worst I've ever heard. I hope they fix it. The walking looks crap as well.

I know, but its still the same general campaign, and stiill roughly the same setting.  The game doesnt look bad, and had they focused on another thether in WW2, I probably would have gotten it.

Suprisingly, very few WW2 games focus on the Eastern front, despite the fact that the Eastern front had by far the most fighting in it, and really the most important front of WW2....I loved red orchestra for that reason, which is really one of the only games to focus on the eastern front only.

yeah, true.. i was just being snarky, sorry :D i do feel you on being burned out - i've never actually played either of the previous brothers in arms games.. by the time they had come out, i had finally burned out on WW2 FPS for the time being. i keep on wanting to pick them up because they're supposed to be so good, and probably will as soon as i catch a good sale. /happy dance at CoD moving away from ww2 edit: and zam, it's brothers in arms - hell's highway

Sorry I was so excited I forgot to mention the title. It's brothers in arms hell's highway 360/ps3 and the best thing about it is that I get to liberate my home country. Damn germans.

Not really. There are stacks of stories to tell about the conflict -- it's just that the same old same old keeps getting rehashed. Allies, Nazis, Europe, D-Day... there is a hell of a lot more to it than that..

WWII stuff will never die , because it was that action where are you against other man with the same gun that fires same bullets and only your skill will save you :), besides IMO its better then battling aliens , or going to far in to the future where all kind of crazy stuff is out .

Its not so much the material thats old, its the fact that they are using the same battles over and over and over and over. You can only kill so many germans with a bolt rifle before it gets old.

Brothers in Arms: Hell's Highway looks really impressive, I watched the 13 min demo and I was blown away.

It's very interesting that they're actually implenting a personal storyline between your soldiers, and now Ubi is doing it R6: Vegas style, first-person while running around and third-person while taking cover.

Although I have to say the way your teammates ran looked kind of weird, and they all ran the same way at the same time in a straight line. I hope they fix it, otherwise I can't wait to fight the nazis again. :D
