They are good devs, but I'm not sure if they can make something Gears-like w/o Itagaki there.

Well we would have to wait for that but we both know that technically it wouldnt be a problem porting Gears like visuals to the PS3.

Thank god, Itagaki peaked on the original XBOX, he made some of the best looking games, and NG had good gameplay to boot, Team Ninja moving into the current gen, pretty much made HD versions of last-gen games, with little to no changes, so I'd prefere itagaki didn't work on it, though those issues are the team's fault and not his, I'd like to see a non-Team Ninja Tecmo game.

Gears of War 2 is much better than this crap.

Just what I wanted, another post-apocalyptic shooter with a badass lead character and big explosions.

We sure as hell don't see enough of those...

No it's not. I'd rather play with tough looking characters instead of characters that look like they just came out of make-up. The game looks cool, but the characters look like they should be cannon-fodder, not heroes.

And lets wait until we see some gameplay footage. It looks great, but I would totally take Gears 2 on looks alone over this game. I'd also take Baldurs Gate over Final Fantasy so I do have a preference for western style for rpgs and fps or 3rd person shooters like this one.
